they make bolt removing drill bits that spin counter clockwise but are cut clockwise. home depot or lowes has em. as far as the nut, try to E600 or epoxy or JB Weld some more material to it so you can get some leverage on it...

 

pliers, vice grips, easy-outs, monkey wrench, torch, and a healthy dose of elbow grease.

 

For bolts, you can often Dremmel a slot in them and then take them out with a flat-head screwdriver

+1. stripped one of my lower fairing bolts and this method worked like a charm

 

the one on the rearset has loctite on it so I would dremel a slot on it and also heat it up with a torch so the loctite will give

 

I have the same problem. The one in the rearsets are sort of "set in" to the rearset so I think the dremel is out of the question. I've got some sweet easy outs but I haven't had the time to use them yet. I have used them on my quad before though and as long as they don't break off they work pretty sweet.

You can also drill a row of holes with a thin drill to make a slot :cool

This is the coolest and simplest idea I've ever seen put into action...on my own bike no less. It did result in a giant cut in m old fairings...but it doesn't matter, now I got the CF onesunk

 

Extractors, dremel, impact driver, "chisel bits", etc.

Since these bolts are junk anyway, and you're on the rearset:

1) Take a drill a couple sizes bigger than the threads on the bolt.
2) Drill until the head pops off.
3) Take your rearset off the remaining "studs".
4) Grab that stud with vicegrips and twist it out, or use the slot cut method.

 

i dont know why i never thought of taking the dremel and cutting a slot in it...
