:dunno Ive seen levers anywhere from 200 (pazzo) up to 500. Just wondering what yall take is on them...

I see them on a lot of bikes, but I just run the stockers. I cannot part with that kinda cash for levers...but that's just me.

Not sure what the real "upgrade" is as far as performance/handling/etc. Maybe some HP gains with the levers and the free sticker they may give you.

nope they are horrible.....:disappointed

kidding asside i run ASVs for the adjustment advantage

Yea I was lookin at those. I was also thinking about doing the shorter ones. My buddy did 1 short 1 long forgot which side is which but he said it improved something. I almost think it was shorter on clutch...

Any thoughts on shorter vs longer :dunno

Short brake long clutch. Yea I always 2 finger my FB so that makes sense. I got my first trackday coming up in august I'm probally gonna do the upgrade by then. The ASVs have a wheel where as the Pazzos have a switch ASV seems a lil more reliable in that sense. Accidently switching the clutch some how and end up stalling or something would not be good.

The adjustability on the asv is as good as everyone says, but the 6 way adjustments of all the other levers get you where you need it to be just as well. The big thing is the 5 year warranty with the asv's, but they do cost more and have less color options. It all depends on what you're after though. I've used them both and like them both to be honest. I would like the price, looks/colors make the decision along with the 5 year warranty and what that is worth to you.

Also with the short brake/long clutch that people mention many people think it will look goofy on their bike, but truth is rarely can you see both levers unless you're stating in front of the bike and looking for that or you're sitting on the bike. Most everyone else won't see both levers at the same time and won't even notice. It doesn't look bad at all.

I just got pazzos (from motomummy of course). I got short on both and so far i dig em. I have had no issues with adjustment except for just getting them adjusted where i wanted. but that only took a couple rides.

I've already ran Pazzo (shorty) didnt like them because of the shorty, but they were good like everyone saying. I got ASV standard lenght on my bike... very good adjust to suit your needs, although i felt good with OEM too, its just your taste, now i feel good with ASV, pick anyone you want, it will make you happy, if you spare money i would get ASV for the "unbreakable" thingy and warranty.

I don't think Pazzo's are worth the money, but still good. Pazzo's use to be conciderably cheaper then CRG levers, now they're more expensive. You also have CNR levers are price even more competitively at $135 per set.

My point has nothing to do with the price you said. You said you can get cnr levers at xxx making it sound like an everyday price. We have one gsxr model bike in one color available at that price. You made sound like an everyday price and it's far from that as it's a closeout. Once the last few are sold out it's gone. The selection use to be decent, but now there is virtually nothing left as it's all been bought up. All I was saying...

Pazzo's are great a value / design, made in north America & not China as some other manufactures.

They had an issue several years ago with their anodizing and some levers were fading or had slightly mismatched colors! That issue has since been addressed but make sure you buy from a Pazzo dealer that moves large #'s to make sure you dont get old inventory.

you can't get cnr's at 135. we only did that as we were closing out the brand and they were very select models that we were trying to move.

pazzo's colors have not changed in 4 years one bit. ALL anodizing comes in slightly different shades depending on what batch it was in. ASV, Pazzo, etc all go through this. One batch the red might be dark, and the next it might be lighter. This isn't a new or an old problems, it's just the way anodizing is. That's why you can't see your friends colors then say "i want those because it will match my bodywork perfectly" because if your levers come from a different anodizing batch and most likely it will then the shade might change slightly on your set of levers.

I have a shorty front brake and long clutch, they came on the bike when I bought it. Sometimes I feel a little "click" when pulling in the clutch but it's probably only 1 in every 20 times, maybe less. I think it's due to the slop in fulcrum. Think of it like you are grabbing the lever and wiggling it up and down rather than pulling it in or letting it out. If I pull straight in towards the bar it never happens. This click doesn't affect the operation of the clutch in any way.

At first I thought I wasn't impressed with them but a couple weeks ago I rode my buddy's k5 with the stock levers and I was immediately like eww these feel like crap. If you have the means then I'd say go for some aftermarket levers but not necessarily Pazzos. I wouldn't go back to stockers but I'd happily try some CRV's or the ones with the Brembo MC too. Basically I like them but I don't swear by them. :cheers

I decided on AVS, I like the Pazzo color schemes but thats secondary to me. 5 Year warranty and only 10 bucks more than the Pazzos. AVS is what im set on.

I wanted the ASV's, ended up with the Pazzo's instead, but it wasn't a big deal for me. I love the Pazzo shorties I have and yes, I've run into traffic that has caused me to stop and go. I've had no problems whatsoever because I was using a shorty clutch.

For the record talked to my buddie today. It was short brake long clutch...

Im gonna do the same it feels comfortable.

And whats this I hear you have to keep the clutch setting as far out as possible or it will burn out the clutch. I called the powersports place today to get a price quote. And after bullshittin with the guy telling him how I like how the AVS settings can be adjusted compared to my stock, hes like whoa whoa wait you gotta make sure its adjusted so its all the way out, I'll adjust it for you perfectly if its the slightest bit off your can fry the clutch out real bad. ????

Is he talking out his ass to get a labor charge? lol idk guys but the economy crisis is fuckin with peoples minds....

The adjustment of the lever won't affect the clutch at all. That's a different adjustment. With what you're talking about you're adjusting the lever w/o affecting the clutch cable or anything with hte cable. You're just adjusting what angle the lever sticks out of the perch, nothing more. You can adjust the clutch cable as well, but that's not what the asv or pazzo adjuster do.
