I like the way the R77D sounds. IMO its a better sounding one than the R77 but to each his own with that. Nice choice!

 

Ya man, I total love the sound. My buddy has the TRC full system on his '09 and I got to say, I think I the sound of my bike better [all biased included bahaha]. I'll have a sound clip up by today. Actually, I should go do that now.

sound clip request.. normal idle and rev stuff but can you do a wot flyby and say a 40mph in first gear driveby? im seruiosly considering this setup and having trouble finding any decent sound clips.Nice bike by the way! whats the weight difference between the stock and yoshi?

 

By ditching the twin OEM pipes and cat and going to a single Yoshi R77 there is a 10kg weight saving

 

I like the white rims. If anyone ever wanted to swap white for black rims, I think I'd do it. Bike looks real clean

 

Looks good man, I finished my exhaust install today as well and holy hell, going from stock to aftermarket :drool :drool Love it. I have a FMF Apex though

Where did you get the white sliders or stunting cage from???

 

A local fabricator in my hometown. Im actually thinking of getting rid of it.

During the ride, they don't bother at all. When I stop I do have to widen my stance. I like'm and are unique in their own rite, but I want to go with Yosh frame sliders & case savers for the aesthetics. They were $150.

I rode my buddies gixxer with something similar, and I hated it. That said, he went down 2 weeks ago and he swears it saved his leg.

I was looking at getting a Yoshi R77D full exhaust, but Ive heard from a few people that if I just cut the cat out, get a mid pipe and slip on, it would be the same thing but save me a few hundred bucks, I'm not really worried about power or weight, I just like cruising for the most part with opening it up occasionally. What do you guys think?

 

Do some research around the forum & you will find plenty on info on it. Some people don't mind doing just the cat hack & slip on, some people just rather buy the full exhaust.

If you aren't worried about power/weight, then do just a slip on and save even more money. :dunno

 

My bike looks just like this right now; with the O2 Sensor and SET valve cables hanging down. I scored a TRC Carbon full system off Ebay and ran out of time trying to get it installed on Sunday (probably will not have time to get back out to the garage until this weekend). Any tips on getting the cables off? I didn't get too deep into it, but it looked like a PITA! (not much room to work)

 

Finally finished the install, now to send my ECU out to Flash Tune. unk

 

Looks great. I really like the look of their dual exit exhausts they have been doing the last few years.

I have the jardine gp1r on my L2 750 and I love it. Its super loud rode it for the first time from Diego to La and got a headache lol

why on earth would you want that to cause a headache and take away from the enjoyment of the bike??

And think about using ear plugs when you ride...youll be glad you did when you still have your hearing at 45....

 

Just making about how loud it is and I had my head phones in so it tuned it out a bit. On thr way back home it didnt bother. I just had to get used to it I guess and believe me I enjoyed every bit of the ride

Hey jus wondering how difficult was the install? Did everything line right up?

 

It wasn't too difficult. I just remember it being a tight squeze installing the headers.
