Good morning to all GSXR lovers...I have 2005 GSXR 750, I bought it used from a Facebook marketplace seller, how ever this bike runs perfect but the bike is not reliable, I get fuel prime and a click when I go to start... I have to bump start it or charge the battery to 100% to start the bike the charging systems is not keeping its charge( iv tried new batter, I have a new stator and stator cover, just waiting on gasket to come in) and iv done a lot of research and I see that the main problem is the stator and rectifier, I believe in my case its the stator due to the picture ill leave below. The rectifier I'm not all that concerned about b/c the harness and wires were ran all the way to where the passenger sits and I know its not getting hot enough to pop . NOW the previous owner I guess had a leak or replaced the stator without a gasket so they put sealant of some sort or JB WELD, so in conclusion I'm going to attack this repair job this weekend and get it cleaned up any tips or advice on how I should attack this are welcomed and MUCH APPRECIATED!

I would just go ahead a buy a new cover before I touched it so you have it on hand. It looks like the bike was dropped and it cracked it.
Do your testing according to the manual but I would probably replace the r\r anyway if you end up replacing the stator.

What's all that blue gunk under where the throttles bodies are? Is that a cracked block?
