I'm hesitant to try using DOT race tires on the street. I pretty sure I won't see the benefit and their hindrances in the wet compared to street/sport tires would have me concerned.

It's a unfair poll, You DOT race tires and streets tires together.... If more people polling are street rider's they will pick the street tire and the same goes for the DOT race. Pull the pirelli's and stick something like a crap dunlop in the group

I ordered a set of Pilot Power 2CT to my K6. 120/70 & 190/50. Everybody has praised them so i will try them myself.

Next set i will probably test Metzeler Racetec's Medium/Medium or Soft/Medium 120/70 190/55. Anybody run these on the street? Opinions ?

Waiting on the P.P. 2CTs in 190/55. Supposed to be out in January. I think my current 190/50 rear will be toast by then.

I've tried the Super Corsas on the Daytona 675, which they come stock on. Those things stuck like glue and gave supreme confidence. I run the PPs on my 1K but would love to try a set of SCs. My guess is that I will go to the PP 2CTs next due to cost.

Michelin Power Race Med/Med rock the shit on the street. Have not tried them in the wet yet but am not affraid to try. They heat up quick and don't spin everywhere like Pilot Powers do. The Daytona 750 comes with Super Corsa Pro's (DOT) and the new Ducati 1089 comes with Bridgestone 002R's (DOT) so why should we not try them.

Daytona 675 not 750 and yes, the SC Pros ROCK on the street, at least on the 675!

Hey I was close, cut me some slack.... Wild Turkey tends to cause some slight problems with remembering specific details.

Super Corsa Pros are next on my list of tires to try, just gotta get a trackday dealer deal on them, typical internet prices are too f-ing high!

Yeah, they are definitely a bit pricey but oh so sticky. Get what you pay for I guess.

Just switched to the pilot power(love this tire:punk ) from the bridgestones, I will never go back to those crappy ass tires:flipoff . They might work for some people but I didn't like having the ass end of my bike break loose so easily. They might work for a smaller bike but deffinately not a 1000
