I dont know what kind of bull you guys are trying to do but its not very cool. I was one of the winners of the August giveaway. I have been pm'ing administrators for the past months and posting in the giveaway forum and have only gotten responses from the other two people that won but have not gotten anything. If you are not going to do it just tell me then I will stop worrying about it. Thanks.

A giveaway is just that... a GIVEAWAY. It is not something you are guaranteed to get because you have a red R. We have THOUSANDS of Red R members. Saying it is a "cash generating endeavor" is rediculous.

As has been said, NUMEROUS times, In NUMEROUS different threads, we are trying to figure out what the deal is. Frankly we have about 6 fully ACTIVE staff right now, and we are doing the best we can do, considering the major behind the scenes changes we are going thru.

I personally think it is very balsy of you to insinuate "foul play" for something you didnt get, that you DIDNT PAY FOR. We also have people having issues actually getting their Red R privelages...... and that IS something they paid for, and takes alot more precedence than your problem in my personal opinion.

We cant be everywhere........ and neither he, nor I can do anything really about it. Not anything any more than the original poster can that is, other than make a thread in the Mod area as well.

simply bitching about it in one of the THOUSANDS of active threads on this site that we moderate, or PMing some mysterious admin, is not going to cut it.

If you have an issue there are NUMEROUS ways to contact us. Each and every one of us have a red or green name for one. It shows who is actively online on the forum main page. Also you can PM MULTIPLE people... at one time even if you choose. Then there is the "report" button in every post of every thread. And even further there is the Contact Us, which dispatches a an Email to those involved...... and further more I think nearly all of us have our Email in our profiles.

If it was nearly as important to him as he acts like it was, believe me. He could have gotten ahold of someone.

But bashing the site, is not the way to go about it, especially when you havn't gone to any real extent to get ahold of the site staff.

I know he has not, as if he had he would at LEAST have an answer that would have suffised for the time being.

And bashing the site, over something you get for free....... is hilarious to me. "running to the bank with the $$$ from advertising and sponsors" Do you really think this site is making that much money? :lol Im sure the site is not taking a loss, but I seriously doubt anyone is getting rich, or even making a significant income off of it

Oh no, dont get me wrong. Im not saying dont worry about it or downplaying it.

Im saying if it was that big of a deal to him, he would have an answer by now. He couldnt have tried HALF as hard as he made it out that he did. I am one of the most active staff (one of not the most) and I was never notified by him.

Im not real sure how the giveaways work. It is not "my area". I do know Mr Gixxer has been notified, and he is supposedly working on it. NOt sure of anything past that. I dont know if the products were not sent by the sponsors, or if Mr Gixxer has got them and not sent them to winners, or what. I just know they are now aware and it is being looked into apparantly

i love how joe thinks he's top dog of the site, and he should be notifyed/handle everything. the title says administrators not moderators. i would not contact a mod for somthing a administrators should handle.

he won the prize, he should get the prize.

There are TWO active admins...... FOUR active supermods........ if you cant see how notifying the supermods can be benneficial in this case you are retarded.

Sure we are moderators, but we have a FEW more channels we can use than you do.

So in short, :flipoff....... you sure do like to complain of this site alot, yet you keep coming back. Why? Glutton for punishment or just grumpy old fuck who isnt happy unless he is bitching about something.

It's called chain of command.

Admins have to deal with other technical issues, mods are actually out in the forum and very active, admins have so much shit going on it's probably easier to get to them through the mods. There's no telling how much crap the admins get PMed or E-mailed on a daily basis.

even as a mod, I have to clear my PMs for room at least once a week

I have not talked "down" to anyone, in the sense that I am better than them. I just happen to be very matter of fact. Some people cant take that. Some can. I am probably the ONLY mod that still gets in debates, no matter how heated, and lets them go as far as I do. I feel that as a moderator I am still entitled to be me, and have my own opinions.

But I also DO take being a mod very seriously. Just like a "leader" or whatever they call it of a bike club. This is our clubhouse, and I am one of the few charged with keeping it straight. So yeah, I do take it seriously, and take offense to people bashing the place, when in my opinion this is one of the most easy going forums in the bike world. We pride outselves on not over moderating, but letting the users ultimately decide what the experience hear is. Of course we do have to do some steering..... but as you even stated, we let ALOT slide here.

Go over to GSXR, and see how Nazi their mod staff is...... then let me know how "too serious" I take it.

And how exactly did "nj had it handled"? He simply said it has been posted in the mod section.

What you DONT know is in other times things like this has been posted, they instruct us to inform what the deal is. I have already spoken with them in the past on what the deal was and added what I was told, as well as my personal opinion on it........ which I am entitled to do.

NO not everyone is so fortunate. I have plenty of friends in real life, but unfortunately nearly none who are into bikes the way I am. I am here because we share a common passion most of us. That is the point of a forum like this. Not a place to stir up the hornets nest, and cause drama. I have met TONS of friends from here in real life, and love the fact that this site has enabled that.

If your sole reason for being here really is just to start shit, maybe you should move on. If it is a waste in your opinion, why are you here?
