picking up a Gen 3 Glock 23 in a few hours from my co-worker who had to have the Gen 4

will be my first .40 :frantic

I actually never shot a Glock until I was at the range with the Mummies two weeks ago. I was underwhelmed, honestly. Having "grown up" with single action (or at least SA/DA) guns, I hate the trigger pull of the Glocks. Hate it. Fit my hand well, though (Gen 4 G17).

I'd honestly just leave the OEM one on there - it's not like a long barrel, semi-auto .223 has much in the recoil department...

I agree 100%, although when I am lean and fit I usually clock in at 175 as opposed to my injured chipotle induced 190 I sit at now :facepalm

Love 'em or hate 'em, there really isnt much in between. I can say I honestly love my G26, I am a little dude and for concealment it is certainly the best options (13 rds 9mm). I prefer my HK USP and would get another one for carry but they dont make a sub compact and their compact.... is not very compact :lol

I am getting the G23 for $300 and just sold my Ruger LCP for $300, so its a clean swap :lol

I would go to psychologist first, and it will take going through a few before you find a good one. The Psychiatrist will just jam drugs down your throat.

I go back to therapy every year or so as routine maintenance, its helpful to talk to a unbiased third party, they can call you on your shit :fact
