Overtightened pinch bolts

Hey guys, had a front tire change about a month ago, yesterday l was doing some maintenance to the front end and found the fork pinch bolts around the axle were freaking tight. The guys in the shop obviously didn't use a torque wrench or they thought it was a car. I assembled everything back to the recommended torques.

Now I'm worried what could have cause riding almost a thousand miles with those over torqued bolts, worried about weakening the fork clamp or something else, what do you think?

These twin pinch bolts have to be tightened evenly. If bolts are tightened on a hot day (warm) they will be much tighter to undo, on a cold day. Don't force, use heat light or heat blower.
This is what happens when you over tighten these. If it hasn't broken your good.
