FIRST EVER POST

been riding for 3 years and road on many different bikes including 1998 Katana 600, 2002 gsxr 1000 and this 2007 gsxr 600 :frantic that I recently bought. The gsxr is stock besides the K&N air filter and full r55 exhaust.

THE PROBLEM....
When I am in first gear and slowly release the clutch the rpm dip down ALOT to the point that it will stall. To compensate I give a lot of throttle right when it starts to dip and carry on riding normally. Everything else is perfectly fine and in great working condition.

WHAT I HAVE TRIED
Nothing... I literally just got the bike and dont know alot about the inner working to figure this out...

please help...

Lift the tank and prop it up, now disconnect #1 coil electrical connector and start the bike , then put it back on and pull #2 and start....and so on.
If any disconnected cylinder doesn't make a difference in its running, you are missing a cylinder., which would explain a huge rpm drop.

Well if it's got a full r55 system and aftermarket filter and no tune you're gonna loose a lot of low end.
I forgot to mention that it got a tune and has a power commander.

So what was repaired, it's not a technical question. He (seller) has the paperwork? Why don't you have the paperwork? Paperwork, receipts, things done follow the motorcycle, previous owner has no use/need for them since he sold the bike. Maybe one of the injectors is clogged and not spraying enough fuel. If you want help, you have to answer the questions :hammer
I am very sorry about this but I really have no idea on what happened. He told me that the bike was in the shop for 2 weeks and they had a difficult time figuring out what the problem was. It was apparently fixed and they gave him a deal on the service. I am going to call the guy that on all the invoices, ask him if he remembers the situation and get back to you when I have more information.
