Hey everyone,
I've been searching through the forums and have seen that the CCT is generally the cause for loud engine noise (rattle) but I just wanted to confirm this with a few people. I only ask because I brought my bike in for something and the mechanic said that it sounded as if I needed my valves adjusted.
So basically,
I have a 07' GSXR600. It has 14,500 miles. I don't race it on a track, and I don't beat on it very often.
The rattle is very persistent throughout every RPM and every gear. It basically sounds like you can hear the engine more than the exhaust sometimes.
Is this pretty common? Should I spend the $$ and get a tune-up + valves checked? Or is this something I can do myself a lot cheaper (I've yet to look up the CCT change but I'm sure it's on the forums if I decided to do it myself)
Thanks for your time everyone.
Kris
