Just bought the Annitori RL from Steve. Shipping was super fast and great customer Service.
Install:
Install Time = 20 min. Super Easy!
1st I assembled the Rod with the Quick Shifter Sensor and mounted it to the Bike. Just unscrew the stock Rod and install the new one. It doesn't matter if its std shift pattern or GP style, nor the direction of the sensor.
2nd lift the tank and remove the air box to gain access to the ignition coils.
3rd route the controller unit back under the seat and the wire loom to the ignition coils. I found it easier to do it around the right side of the bike.
4th remove the stock connectors from the ignition coils and plug them to the supplied wire loom connectors. Then the wire loom have a connector that plugs back into the ignition coils. Everything is plug and play, no need to splice anything.
Then just find a right place to connect the ground wire and that's it you have a Quick Shifter. I used the bolt that holds the air box to the frame.
Setting the desired sensitivity is easy. Just quickly flip the ignition key to "ON" 3 times, on the fourth leave it on you'll notice that all 3 lights in the controller unit are blinking, then it just changes from Red to Amber to Green. When the desired color is lit just turn off the key to save that setting.
Review:
At first I was scared of how the bike will react when shifting from 1st to 2nd at WOT, so I started shifting at medium RPM's and it was really smooth even smoother that a clutchless shift. Then I went for it and shifted from 1st to 2nd to 3rd @ WOT @ 15,000 RPM...
unk Oh my, it was pure forward thrust
hmy
I have not missed a shift today, let's see how it does on the Strip tomorrow. I will update!
Loving it!:cheers
