The Annitori RL is a stand alone product. It does not need anything but "itself" to operate. You can run the RL on a bone stock motorcycle, or on a World Superbike. Does not matter...

You are PM'd on prices, thanks!

With the Kawi 636 we encountered an issue that has nothing to do with the shifter! It was falling into neutral shifting from 1st to 2nd! It's called positive neutral finder! Silly feature to put on a sportbike! We manage to go around it by changing the shift pattern to GP style!

Update on my 750:

I drag race! And my best time was 10.62! When i added the Rl now my best is 10.51... Happy shifting!

yea that would be enough right there for my brother not to get it til the problem could be fixed without changing it to GP shifting, I have GP shifting on my bike already and he bitches about it and its not even his bike. I just tell him that's too damn bad cuz I love GP shifting and don't plan on goin back as long as I don't have to with my future bikes.

We know this is probably obvious, but just so everybody here in the GSXR world understands the "neutral finder" comment above is ONLY an old Kawasaki thing, mostly only a ZX-6R problem (the bigger Kawasaki's seem to not have it so much), and has nothing to do with GSXR's of any year...

The Kawasaki forums have discussed this in detail years ago, but the feature was dropped by Kawasaki we think about 5 years ago so it is not even an issue anymore with them.

ALL you GSXR riders have nothing to concern yourselves with, standard or GP patterns are fine to use...!

I've read that to solve this issue it's needed to change the shift detent star due to the Neutral bumps being too big and steep. We chosed the free way to get the shifter working good.:cheers

I received my quickshifter today and installed it in about 20 min!! Took it out for a test ride, this thing is awesome, smooth shifts everytime!! I will really put it to the test in about a month when I hit the
track!

can u still use the clutch or do u have to turn the shifter off to use the clutch?
You can use the clutch anytime you want. The bike is still 100% stock, you have lost nothing. Just you have the added benefit of the RL to when you want to do things faster...

price check 06 gsxr 750
PM'd, thanks!

for the 2005 and newer bikes you will not have any issues

so please disregard this if you have a newer bike, but if you have an older bike please speak with Steve first.

unfortunately, on a 2002 gsxr 600 it will trip the FI light even though everything plugs in and works correctly on Annitori's part. you will receive codes 24,25, 26, and 27 for "ignition system malfunction". i just tried my quick shifter tonight and got all 4 codes. the ECU's on the "dinosaur" bikes are more sensitive to misfires and ignition interrupter signals than the newer bikes. i am keeping my quick shifter for the track bike and will use it on the track only. i will not have any issues on track, but the FI light could get annoying on the street if it was blinking all the time. even if you shift using the clutch like normal it triggers the FI light because it still interrupts the ignition coil signal. i am still pleased with this product and it does everything Annitori said it would, good and bad (FI light on). they told me that it would work and would turn on the FI light, but i had to see this for myself so it is my fault. but i am satisfied as i stated.

and for steve, i will be using the 90mm rod. it is okay with me and i will be retuning the 135mm rod to you. we had a slight communication break down, but how else are you supposed the check a company's customer service if you dont :shifty :twitch? custoner service is great and i would gladly do business again.

and for the review after testing:

the quick shifter feels (IMO) like a proper shift kit in an automatic trans car. a nice, clean, firm and positive shift. there is no delay or "flat on its face" feeling when shifting. the timing is perfect from the factory.

this is one of the most user-friendly, easiest installed, stand alone quick shifters on the market and was why i chose one for my bike.

Well, that sucks :lmao
Let us know if you figure out how to fix this problem. My shifter should be here in a few weeks... :)

Has anyone tested this unit out on a K3 1000 ? Am wondering if will get same issues - Steve is not sure, so just throwing out there.
Cheers
Si
