I have a 1990 GSX-R750 and I installed a new petcock on it cause my old one was leaking fuel. I was a little surprised that the new one cost $181 from Suzuki Partshouse. Parts for the Oil-cooled gixxers don't come cheep I suppose.

Most likely the angle the pic was taken,but it looks like you're wearing sneakers and no socks? :scratch
 
Just got the Rear Seat Cowl off the Ebays for $31 w/shipping, which took about a week and a couple of days to come. Not a bad knock off and came with the metal latch. Only had to take off the 2 rubber cushions from me seat and swap them on to the cowl.Plus, the allen wrenches doen't exactly fit in the holders; but all in all no biggie. The matte black is not a bad match for color either, although not a 100% match.

Finally got around to installing the rear Showa Balance Free Shock that I scored on ebay to my L7 "Base" GSX-R1000. Looks nice, but I will not have a chance to ride and test until NYS breaks this cold/winter in April hopefully.

what were your reasons for modifying the gearbox?
 
Gears weren’t holding on and slipping out of the correct gears. For example would downshift while coming off the highway and when I would downshift to 2nd and use engine braking it would hold 2nd for 5 seconds or so then slip into neutral on its own. So since tranny was being pulled anyways, all gears are being undercut and then micropolished by yosh.

Shaved head and degreed cams should put the bike close to 210 whp but we will see once it’s on the dyno
