I've been through 2, the thought of a 3rd is my number one reason to put off applying for SWAT :facepalm

And to underscore the uselessness of psych exams, the failure rate on the SWAT psych is insanely high. The false positive rate is most likely staggering on LE psych exams. Good people get shot down and psychopaths probably still get through.

Psych evaluations seem to mostly contain subjective bullshit, and the psych majors I knew in school all seemed to be sociopaths

I'm sure there's some fuckups that stop trying after they fail everywhere, but there's some psych doctors that are notorious for failing almost everyone. I don't know many people that passed their first one.

Chances are they'd fail you, saying if you race motorcycles, you're too much of a risk taker. That's all they have to write for you to not be hired, and there's no appeal process.
