He's got a ton of parts in a small warehouse. He's not a rider so I don't know if he knows how to measure a rim. Lip to lip its 17 and 5/8. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt at the moment. Maybe I should run slicks:burnout

You want these wheels ccm? Sorry didn't see that post. The rear wheels need a sprocket carrier and whatever spacers needed. Pm me.

If i had a good option I would keep them. Im sure I could get away with an intermediate wet. I don't know if i feel like cutting groves in tires. On the other hand you can find these tires pretty cheap on eBay

Ntec are a track tire and belong on warmers, you will never get them warm enough or keep them warm enough, and if you do, you will cycle them through too many heat cycles and turn them into crap.

Are they only available in the UK the 16.5s?

You could use the Michelins just run a bit higher PSI and they will warm up, but like said prior, they will not last long, for me I could probably get a season out of them as I put only 1500km/900mi over 5 or 6 rides and they are a lot less expensive the DOT tire

I really want to use them, if the closest track wasn't 4 hours from me I would keep them. Maybe someone with a track bike will take them off my hands.

I love to see an old machine given a proper treatment. I'm especially impressed by your work on the wiring and clever brass supports- A favorite quote of mine is "Any fool can make it complicated; it takes a genius to make it simple." (Paraphrased, heavily.)

Your attention to detail and good taste brings a tear to my eye.

I'm only 3/4 joking about the crying. Very, very clean work.

Didn't the desmocedici come with 16.5" thought bridge stone homologated a special size tyre for it

^Thanks man, she my pride and joy and obsession! I thought about that screen brace for a while before I realized I was trying too hard. Over thinking it kills me sometimes. I'm sitting in the garage looking at the bike right now. I've got the one marvic wheel sitting in the swing arm, maybe if I wish hard enough it will turn into a 17.

Tons of rumours about those size dot tires but I cant find any. If its something i need to special order it would probably cost a fortune.
