Couple of bits to collect form anodising and then it will be started to put back together!!! Steering races fitted and swing arm bearings on there way.
Will post a thread at some point as I've not had rearsets etc coated and need to decide wether to stick with polished or go black/gold.......I bottled getting them powder coated as I didn't want to regret it!

You do anything special to prep them or did the shop take care of all that?

Nothing at all!!! Dropped them off oil stains and all, by the time I'd unloaded one of the guy was already hanging them in the blast cabinet and the rest is history. They put bungs in all of the threads and high temp masking tape where I needed to put bearings back in (apart from the lower shock mount on the swing arm, will need to sand that tomorrow).

Depends what finish you want on the cast pieces as they are not as smooth as the other parts. For the effort to smooth them out before I can live with the finish to them!

Bugger, I only broke the tabs off mine through crashing.
They still fitted though.
I guess that I never crashed hard enough then...
Aren't they like socks that go missing in the wash?

Why not ask the SRADIATOR......he'll have you Sradiated in no time.

we'll I have a bunch of carbon bits on the way. thanks to Daz over at meltedsliders I have a set of his ram air tubes and some Harris carbon frame covers on the way. d2moto top triple cover, and gauge cover. and I happened to find a MINT carbon works hugger that is also on the way. I'll post the pics once it's all on :D

btw, how is this thread not sticky? :shifty

Nice... Can't wait to see the after pics! I'm thinking about picking up another big-body 'Zuki this fall/winter once the prices start going back down. We'll see what comes of it...
