What do you guys wear under your leathers when you ride? Street or track?
I have a one piece, and i'm not sure if i need to get some sort of under armor, or just wear a t-shirt or tank top?
Also, do you wear something like basketball shorts, or something more like an under armor material?
I'm going to be doing some track days this year and I just want to be prepared.
Thanks!
:cheers

I have several Rukka Cool-Max 1-piece undersuits. They are similar to UnderArmor. They keep you cooler when it's warm and having a "sliding layer" between your skin and the suit both makes it MUCH easier to get the leathers on and off and helps prevent friction burns if you should crash :)

Pearl Izumi 7-panel cycling bibs and a thin cotton T-shirt.

And even if I get one of those wicking jumpsuits to wear under it, I'll still be rocking the cycling shorts. I highly recommend a good quality chamois cycling short!

underarmor here as well. hotgear in the summer, coldgear in the winter.

Same here, coldgear in winter, heatgear in summer. .In winter though, I get xxl because I put two to three pair long johns under the coldgear.. I be out in 13 degree weather..

Also, be out in 100 degree weather with heatgear, leather pants and mesh jacket.. Just want to add the point, that no matter how hot it gets, I gear up all the way when I ride the sportbike. Dam, I wish I could say the same about my bicycle...:crying

Are 1 piece suits not lined like my pants?
Yes - but the problem is that that line follows the suit, not your body - that means that when you are sweating it'll all stick to your skin and be a PITA to get off. If you have a separate undersuit you just slide the leathers off and then the undersuit is easy to strip off :)

I took the liner out of my 1-piece for that reason and only use the undersuits - that also means that it's easier to wash them every time, a liner that's zipped/velcroed in not so much...

I wear a pair of McDavid hexpad compression shorts and an Under Armour shirt. I like the hexpad shorts because of the flexible thick, but not noticeable hip and tailbone padding. If I can find them in pants I will get them, the only place my suit sticks on me is on my calves.

Pair of basketball shorts but after reading this thread, I'm behind the times.
