i dont think this is a repost anywhere but motorcyclenews.com posted this video yesterday on the tube!

what about the streets ? you never go more than 160 when riding the streets ? like for example if you need to run away from the cops chasing you ? or if you want to show off on the highway
No..the goal isn't top speed here.. it is hitting as many corners and back roads as you can to get away. :wacko

Ive had personal friends die this way. I ALWAYS stop. dont get me wrong i like to drive fast but sure dont ever feel the need to top out my bike on the street.

Honestly this makes me wonder why I even bought a liter bike. A 600 is more than would ever need I need.
the only benifit you will ever have over a 600 on the street is the availabilty of torque that keeps you from switching gears all the time. put us together on a track though and the 1000 doesnt mean shit :lol

yeah i love not switching gears as often riding down the highway. i also love how big my liter bike is as well. i dont have knee problems anymore when i put my leg down at a stop.

I saw 176 which really means around 160~165
I dont believe that. I think that suzuki, kawi, yam, honduh and the rest are more accurate nowadays then prior old bikes. I mean they still prob are not 100 % accurate but prob closer then the older bikes. I think they need to set up GPS Speedometers as a standard in every bike produced that way these damn speed/real speed threads can vanish!

maybe im wrong though. wheres a suzuki tech?
