aka doesnt blip?

With OUR bikes though, it is less of a big deal. We have the slippers to help.

With Phails, his rear wheel will chatter if he doesnt do something to bring the engine speed up... be it using his clutch lever as a "slipper clutch" or blipping.
Had it happen first month or so of riding and almost high sided.

Just like that, :lol I remember why it is bad pie...instinct told me to gun it when it started to skip and 'ride' it out.

Hit a patch of oil and for some reason I thought it was a good idea to downshift in an exit...was maybe doing 50(it was a fast exit)

Sooooo wrong though...:lmao

Stock slipper will help with all that and all but I will know in the back of my head that it is 'wrong'

Don't wanna crutch bad habits. I get it sometimes, and others I don't.

Doing my first track day will give me better ideas of how to adjust my stock stock stock set up bike.

The PCIII was an impulse buy as was the K&N. Slip On was an AKA "I can't stand the stock exhaust" kinda deal :lol
Not wrong at all really. With a slipper, I blip way less than I used to. Between a slight blip, clutch modulation, and the slipper, it all works together.

I can ride without a slipper, but the slipper has made me lazy basically. Using all three at the same time to accomplish what needs to be done takes less precision and frees up some time IMO for me

I need to adjust my slipper some more. I want it to almost feel like it free wheels into a corner.

Just can't dump it.

I was all or nothing...but I see what you're saying.

Apparently I do it the old school way. The whole race with the ninjette I never locked the rear.

:spit

Tis why I made a blue/black comment awhile back

They are on the way.

I waited too long, but I need them for any kind of vehicle on any kind of track.

I think I was too scared to track day last year. I made so many excuses, and couldn't come out and say what I've said today.

It's scary to approach the limits of something you've never pushed before.

But I have, as illegal as I have, and as :squid as it has been and however little it has been, I have to like...remember it, but not completely rely on it, because the track is a completely different beast.

Like, I am so fucking jacked up about doing it...and taking the first step, but at the same time scared to fucking death of the initial ice breaking.

I think the reason it pisses me off sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad is because I can heel/toe any truck/car like an effin pro within one or two shifts.

And the bike I am like a fucking retard.

:lmao

But there's people worse than me, but it's not about them at all.

:grrr

I have like zero experience with manual trans vehicles, so I feel like I fail driving one. I really need to swipe Trish's car and get some practice. I can ride any sort of bike just fine, but translating that clutch action to my left foot feels weird and foreign :scratch

Very rarely. He likes the back locking up :dunno

I slide the rear a lot too, but only when I go REALLY deep, so that there is almost no weight on it. I still blip a little, and modulate the clutch out as well. Slipper still hsa to work in a lot of corners though. T1 sometimes at barber, T5 at barber nearly every time. T1 at Jennings, sometimes T13 too. T1 at roebling. three turns at CMP that Ic ant remember the numbers, and T2 at Nashville.

laughing at the caddy board a bit. it's so slow in their "sfh". only been like 10 posts since thurs morning. slackers :dissapointed

side note: we really need to spell disappointed correctly :lol

That's because you don't have one anymore :lol

And yes we do, but it would really fuck up Jow. I bet if we asked him to spell it now, he'd spell it wrong now. :lol

Learning on a stiff clutched 350Z will have it so you can drive any stick.

Oh, and anyone can drive stick, but to drive it well takes some effort imo

I fuck up MOST double letter words

like Tommorow <---see :D........ Disappointed (hah got it right). There are others. Anything that has the ability to have two different letters doubled up, I pick the wrong one :lol

cowboys own. but the texans are my team. i hate jj, romo and philips. one of the trifecta need to leave before i can rightfully cheer for the boys again. my martin is a nut for them tho. it's gonna be an interesting '10 season for us :lol

and he's never been to a UT foozeball game. i'm kind of excited about it. he's gonna see me in full-on nutbag mode.

Well, he's not an OU fan obviously, is he a Tech fan?
