So today I was riding home from work. The road I take home has phenomenal twisties. Well for some reason I just couldn't get my rhythm. Feet felt uncomfortable, legs seemed to be more sore then usual, and it felt like I was getting distracted by every little bump in the road. :dunno

I just felt off for some reason. Does this happen to anyone else?

Of course......everyone does.

On days like that one thing to make sure is to not push it. Take it easy and just ride easy and relaxed. If you cannot focus on what you are doing for whatever reason, either turn around and park it that day or just take it easy and cruise.

Yep, Those are the days I call it in early and putt it around to get back. There will be plenty of other days to ride, no sense in forcing it & wadding up your bike.

Sure do. I had one on the way to work last week, just didn't feel right at all. It was a scary ride but it has passed by the afternoon.

The timing is funny, I was out last Friday thinking what the hell is with me today? The more I tried to focus the shittier I was riding. Like the other guys said, time to back it way down & cruise or call it a day & do something else.

man all it takes is a nice ggod slip of my front tire and it fucks wity head alllllll day. i get all paranoid thinking ima gonna tuck the sum bitch then my day is just a waste. i dont mind bumps and shit, but thinking im loosing grip scares me

Your just focusing TOO much. Try singing songs inside your helmet like I do. It will get some blood flowing and ease the mind. I recommend "I Saw the Sign" by Ace of Bass, "Giants In the Ocean" by Sky Eats Airplane, "I've Got Mine" by The Black Keys, "Caribou Lou" by Tech N9ne or even "I Wanna Rock" by Twisted Sister. I mean you can come up with your own repertoire but these are some good ones IMO.

If I jump on my bike and forget to put the kickstand up before putting it into gear, or forget to zip up my pockets (for example) I usually know right off it's going to be a bad day for riding and will put the bike back in the garage. Better to wait than to have something truly bad happen.

I've only left the stand down once and I dropped it that day :banghead
It happened to have been the second day I owned it :lmao

Everyone has off days with everything. Like everyone else said, take it easy and get home safe.

I would take my cage to work if the damn clutch wasn't slipping. Not to mention the quote that I got from local repair shops were in the range of $1200-1400.

Funny thing is that the stealership is the cheapest at $1100. So more CC debt on its way. It'll be worth it since it's getting to be close to 110 deg. outside right now so the AC is sound pretty good.
