What kind of gas do you use?

funny thing is, you could probably convert our bikes to run on propane very easily and they would probably make a little bit more power, propane works great in high compression engines. not to mention that the octane rating of propane is up there..i think like 125 or so...so with proper tuning you could be pumping out a decent amount of power

I use Chevron wherever possible to avoid gasohol. So far they don't add alcohol I think as they are still allowed to substitute the Chevron patented and owned Techron(techroline) or some such.

hate to break it to you but they do add ethanol. almost all brands of gasoline have up to 10% ethanol added to it

If I remember correctly the original question was "What kind of gas do you use?" Just about every reply to the topic has been somebodys honest answer....with the exception of a few who have waaaaay up in the thousands of post and obviously think they know more because of that.....when in reality they're no more than some pencil pushing geek who has nothing better to do that sit behind a computer all day....

I run CAM 2 in my Craftsmen lawn tractor!!! (goes bad after a week or so of sitting in the jug rather than let it waste i burn it up in the tractor)

Your obvious attempt at talking shit about my "obvious" reasons for having thousands of posts, shows just how clueless you truly are.

One, I help run this site... OBVIOUSLY I will have more than the average persons posts :idea

Two, I have been a member for 7 years..... if you check my profile I have an average of 21 posts per day..... not that hard to do now is it.

Three, I work on the road, and spend average 4 nights a week in a hotel.

My desk is 200ft in the air on the top of a water tower :idea

Make a little more sense to ya now?

Let me add this. I have raced my whole life, and worked on bikes as long, and did so for a living for about 8 years. I think I DO know a bit more than the "average" person :thumbup


Now that that is over, you are still clueless if you are one of the people I spoke of. The ones who think running "The Best" is anything close to that.

If you choose to run race fuel on the street, because you can afford to do so, and just like the smell..... more power to you. Or as you said, because why waste it... more power to you.

But if you are one of the people who ignorantly thinks that "premium" means "better"....... then you are one of the people I referenced

If you are not...... then why the butthurt, get the fuck over it :idea.

:scratch hmm guess you told me....

you help run the site.....so why not set a good example....since you've been around bikes so long and you race and do this and do that.....be helpful which i'm sure you are....but my thing is why do some of you guys have to act like jackass' all the time...I'm sorry I don't mean to come off like one myself...i just don't get it sometimes thats all:dunno
