ganked my computer back :D

Well, decent news. the Gun shop couldnt help me MUCH. He could send it off to be repaired, or I could trade it in, for about a 25% loss :rolleyes...... notgoing to happen. Understandably my issue is with Charter, not them. But he did help some. He said if I can get charter to send me a brand new pistol, since I am not comfortable with it,he will then take the new one in return for a full amount trade on another brand/model.

He also said, I would probably have more luck with Charter than he would... and gave me their number. When I called and explained all the issues, and that it is going to be a carry pistol, and I need to know without a shadow of a doubt it will work. She seemed to understand completely and did not seem to think it woudl be an issue to get a brand new one sent out.

So it is not looking all bad :)
:cool

I would not accept ANY misfires that aren't directly related to the ammo from a revolver. Hell, all it has to do is hit the primer and then turn the cylinder and everything is purely mechanic and driven by your fingers. Aren't nearly as many factors to count in as in a semi-auto pistol... :shifty

And Mornin' All :D

The miss fires are only ONE of many things though too.

The ejector plate gears (which rotate the chamber) have worn and knicked spots on them already.

The Chamber pivot arm (crane they call it) at the front where the chamber spins is already worn looking and has a burr of metal hanging off of it where the chamber has rubbed.

The ejector rod head stripped off.

the chamber has too much front to back and side to side play now, even when in lockup.

And the firing pin does not appear to stick out far enough anymore (which is probably because of the chamber looseness)

And the miss fires where two chambers side by side both times. I assume the same ones, which tells me something is "crooked" if one side fires, and the other doesnt.

I am done with that POS :lol

Sounds like the Pakistani made, non-maintained, banged-up AKs you could buy at the markets in Iraq for 2$ :lol

It's an electric fan. It's the same type we use on the racecars but when you have it on all the time the motor burns out too quickly.:hammer
Crap - and you can't get a new one easily?
