OK, I will buy that. I cant see them in the pics I'm looking at, but makes sense

Still doesn't answer how you adjust pre-load, and doesn't make them any less news worthy........ and still MUCH more news worthy than how ugly the exhaust might or might not be :lol

Interesting, both compression and rebound on top :scratch... so I wonder is the bottom adjuster high speed comp, or is it pre-load, and if so how it works being at the bottom (especially since some racers like to be able to adjust it on the fly :blink )

Some rear shocks, like the Ă–hlins TTX, have both on top :dunno Never seen it on forks before, though :dunno

Yeah :scratch

You will have to have a 14mm T-socket, and reach down to adjust it on the straights :lol.

Those forks look badass... would love to see specs. The cat pisses me off. They weld it on for the 08 600/750, but they allow it to be removed on the 09 1K.

WTF is up with the shock adjusters, or lack thereof?

The tach could be set up better as well. For the shift light problems on my 600 I set it to flash rapidly at 14,500rpm and I see it when it's important but I also redline the fuck out of the bike on the long straights anyways :dunno.

Exhaust looks better than the last model but who keeps it anyways.

The color schema's are pretty much shit except the blue/white.

Now someone go preorder one. We need a guinee pig.

love the tail light
exhaust looks like it's out of a cartoon
love the front headlight
Gauge cluster is nice

that silver streak is fucking terrible

What are the "MODE" buttons on the right clip on for?

Is this the first year Suzuki put the "Hazard" switch on the bike also?

"Cruising to Starbucks" LMFAO! i`m in England Joe, errr we got Macdonalds but that S**T gives me the guts.
Have you ever heard the saying "fly by the seat of your pants" who needs a poxy shift light ,if your in front of the Prats next to you they are probably looking at theirs :):):)
As a former drag race slut, I'll tell you it's very hard to shift by "feeling" when there is another loud ass engine next to you at a totally different RPM, nevertheless 5 loud ass engines and there aren't body panels to block the sound.

And Joe;
Fuck you. Nothing wrong with riding your bike to starbucks. :cursing

Of course, the only time I don't ride my bike somewhere is when I'm taking something that doesn't fit in a backpack or its raining.

As for the forks, im sure they will have something for the racers out that may be more adjustable, untill we can all see it in person, i don't think your really going to know how the forks are set up.

And i agree with most everyone, the cans on that thing look like shit, but that ain't going to stop me from buying one next year!
IMO, its looks better than the other big 3

UTP, that is the power selection switch, been on there since 07 on the 1k and 08 on the 600/750 I think it was. They call it a traction control, but it is not. all it does is limit the power in B and C mode, and not sure is that a hazard or a flash to pass? (not lookng at the pic right now)

I looked close, it's a hazard switch I suppose to flash the signals if your in trouble. I think this will be the first year they installed that. So the rumor was true that the 1K was getting the "Good, Better, Best" rider control. I always thought they would leave that off the big dog!
