If folks here couldn't figure it out without the colorizing, you better run over to another site for advice damned skippy!
Now it would be down right insulting if he figgured he had to colorize a rod sticking out the side of the case :crying.

WTF.... damn dude... put her up on the rear stand, then put some jack stanks under the main frame (under the motor). Tie the front down to something, then take it off the rear stand. Now, if you remove the rear wheel, the swing arm will be at your mercy..... if the bolts and holes dont line up at this point, then just shoot yourself... j/k... then take out some preload, and if that doesnt work... your so screwed.... but really, that should do it..

..... shouldnt you be outside right now awasson? ... its gotta be like 20 degrees out! Even the harley guys are riding today ;)
Well I went out yesterday.... er Saturday and met up with Slingshot, M-doc, rawdonflyer and a bunch of others who were going for a ride on the Shore.... I couldn't go riding because I had to pick up a part (see picture below) but I did meet up at that Starbucks to talk bikes.

My latest part. I'm picking up the back wheel & steel lines too: (It was worth missing a ride for)

Couldn't ride today... I was 14ft up a scaffold wiring my new upper deck lights.
Now that I've seen the view from up there, I want to add a 3rd floor and really piss of my neighbors :lol

The weather's going to be great this week so I'm looking for some mid week night rides and then the Xmas Toy Run on Sunday :biggrin

Nice huh :biggrin
And yes... I used to have a unicycle which I somehow could ride surprisingly enough.

I got the front end from Srad6/10... He's gone to the dark side (watercooled 93 750) and he's putting on an 05 front end. I'm helping finance it by buying his 93 stuff which will pretty much bolt right on mine :punk

Alright. After locating a Cspanner, and loosing a lot of blood i managed to remove what i assumed would be all preload on the spring. However, the ohlin 'cuffs' are all the way at the top and the spring still has enough force to not allow me to remove/move the bolt. Whats next ? taking the tire/rear suspension off ?

EDIT:
