Give your friend the $35.. He can mow your lawn for 2 months..

As for the problem with the dealer, explain that since the bike is in for "warranty" work you shouldn't be charged!! Making a scene works well, too. I understand that it's more the principle, not the price. I would pay the money, pick up the bike, contact the BBB and complain to Suzuki and find a new service center.

Once I picked up the bike I would sell it for what's owed. If you don't have $35, chances are this months and next months payments aren't going to get paid (at least on time).

yea...most definitely your FAULT for buying a pontiac. you had a CHOICE to buy a different car, but you CHOSE to buy that car. in no way is pontiac at fault, because YOU are the one that bought the car.

(for the guys that don't know, the geek has a horrible/DUMB sense of logic that he attacked me with, so im just using his OWN logic against him).
This is me saying FUCK YOU. You parked your bike behind a car and expected it to get hit... then you're pissed when it does. You're an asshat and the fact I have to breathe the same air as you makes me sick.

Now that I think about it dJ... it is my FAULT. I have a nice reliable car that get's great milage, is fun to drive, and does everything I need it to. Yup... it's my FAULT for buying a good car and taking care of it. And my bike isn't banged up because of it. :flipoff

For some people $35 is a pretty big stretch and it is also the principal. If they did that to every customer imagine what they would make.
They should still make it right? I mean they send a work order back to the factory and get paid. This just means that they're trying to double-dip.

No one is seeing what I am saying. Just because someone is in a rut for a month and can't afford $35 means he is an idiot for buying a motorcycle and should just sell the damn thing. I doubt he could sell it for what is owed anyways. I said that SOME PEOPLE can't afford $35. If he needed $35 I would give it to him. He doesn't need it and neither does the dealership.

THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN SEE HAS HAPPENED IS THAT POSSIBLLY THERE WAS A DIAG. CHARGE THAT SUZUKI WON'T ACCEPT IN A WARRENTY CLAIM, THEY WILL ONLY LET THE DEALERSHIP CLAIM A CERTIAN AMOUNT FOR DIAG. I BELEAVE IT IS JUST A HALF HOUR. IN THE SHOP I WORK AT THE TECH WOULD HAVE TO EAT THE EXTRA TIME THEY SPENT. DO TO THE WARRENTY BOOK ONLY PAYING FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME. TALK TO THE GENERAL MANAGER OF THE DEALERSHIP SEE WHAT HE HAS TO SAY ABOUT THE BOGUS CHARGE. THEN ASK FOR THE LABOR OPERATION CODES AS WELL AS THE PAID WARRENTY TIME TAHT THE BOOK ALLOWS, THEN COMPARE THAT TO WHAT YOU ARE BEING BILLED. THAT WILL SHOW YOU EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING. KEEP IN MIND DO NOT GET MAD BE AS NICE AS CAN BE. IT WILL HELP YOU ALOT...BELEAVE ME. THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN'T GET YOU POINT ACCROSS THOUGH, JUST BE NICE AND POLITE ABOUT THINGS. IF NONE OF THIS WORKS THEN CALL AND FILE A COMPLAINT. GIVE THE DEALERSHIP A CHANCE TO MAKE EVERYTHIGN SQUARE. i BET IT IS A SCREW UP IN THE COMPUTER OR SOMTHING STUPID. AND THEY JUST HAVEN'T DOUBLE CHECKED ALL OF THE BILLING. IT CAN BE QUITE DIFICULT DEPENDING ON THE PROGRAM THAT THEY ARE RUNNING...

Update. Kinda late, sorry. I went to the dealership and talked to a friend of his that worked there and said that he had to pay the $35 because they worked on it so long. He mentioned that he talked to Suzuki and they said that he should not have to pay anything. The guy walked back to the Service Manager and told him. He came back about a minute later and said don't worry about it. All is good now.

They actually did nothing to the bike because they could not find anything wrong. They said that it was probably bad gas or something. Shouldn't they check EVERYTHING to cure the problem? They said that if the FI's were messed up that the bike would not run right. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Could they have overlooked something and is it anything to worry about?
