Hi there, will the tyre will wear more if i lower the tyre pressure? whats your preferably tyre pressure for street and track riding? currently im using 36 front and 42 rear. thanks
Im trying 29f/27r which is recommended for track day and yeah it wobble too :shifty. If somebody already trying those combination...is it normal that it wobble when u pin the throttle hard? Why on earth would you try 25f 28r? Yes, it's normal for the bike to wobble when there's not enough pressure in the tyres.
Im on track days...rear start to wobble when im pushing hard the throttle while im in the corner...and headshake(hard) occur when im exiting the turn...:scratchwhat do you mean by the bike wobbles? are you talking about headshake? is the front end getting light and the bars are moving around on you? or is the rear moving around?
and if you are running too low of a pressure, and not getting the tire warm enough, it will actually have less grip than it would running a higher pressure. if you are running track day temps on the street, you are doing yourself a disservice.
Ok thanks...anyhow when i use 32f/38r there's no problem with the wobble and headshake except less grip...ill try re-setup my suspension...thanks to all of you...cheers...sounds more like suspension than tire pressures. You need to get it set up for you
What do you mean hot / cold pressures? if indeed you mean pumping the air when its hot or cold...i pumped it before i was running the bike so its not cold nor hot...temperature here is 29 celcius...I haven't seen it mentioned in here yet, but you need to specify/make sure you are working with either hot or cold pressures.
Yes, it makes a difference.
Michelin only deals with cold pressures. If you have heard pressures from your Bridgestone guy, he is giving you hot pressures.
