So there i was flipping through the channels when i fell upon the movie TORQUE... i remember seeing it back in the day and thinking it was rather stupid, but i thought for the sake of having absolutly nothing else to do, i would watch it..
HOLY SHIT that movie is beyond a waste of time!!! It had to be, if not the worst motorcycle based movie ever, the worst movie ever...So my question is...other than biker boys (which was also somewhat stupid, but not anywhere near the level of torque), what other motorcycle movies are out there??? any worth watching? ive seen some of ghost rider's stuff and its pretty cool, but is there any other movies that are worth mentioning? :dunno

sadly...I too was flipping through the channels and sat back to watch TORQUE and came to the conclusion that i can ride @ 200mph in the middle of busy streets and have a mortal-kombat style fight with another rider...haha, I can't think of any subject specific movies, but Kill Bill Vol. 2 she rides a bike as well as both Tomb Raider movies for brief periods of time and Mission Impossible 2...couple of Triumph's in MI:2

Looks like alot of us fell upon that movie lately. I never watched it when it came out, because I still had the bad visuals of BikerBoyz in my head, but I eventually stumbled on it the other night... God, it was terrible.

The World's Fastest Indian was great. Easy Rider is a classic. On Any Sunday is also a great one.

i didn't mind Biker Boyz so much. other than the final drag race down a dirt road, i really didn't see enough wrong with it to never watch it again. being a member of a motorcycle club myself, i guess i was entertained by it. i recently watched The Doctor, The Tornado, and The Kentucky Kid, and i gotta say i loved it. in my opinion, most good motorcycle-related films are either documentaries or based on a true story.

sidenote: the motorcycle chase from MI:2 where Tom Cruise low sides under an 18-wheeler and stands the bike back up on the other side is some of the most realistic riding you ever want to see on film! :lol

As much as I love On Any Sunday, Faster and the like, they're still mainly documentaries... They can't seem to do a movie about sportbikes without being lame. My favourite 'movie' is World's Fastest Indian, but I've been getting into some of the classics, like Beyond the Law with Charlie Sheen, and The Wild One with Marlon Brando.

As for dirt movies, there's SuperCross, which isn't nearly as lame as Torque and BikerBoyz.

On Any Sunday gets my vote. I went to the theater to see On Any Sunday 2 in 1981. Classics.

Sad to say, I actually bought Torque on DVD. Yes the movie has ridiculously unbelievable stunts, but I am still drawn to the poor humor. I bought Torque because I wanted to see it more than once every two weeks on cable.

I also have BikerBoyz on DVD. It has a better plot than Torque, and the stunts are more believable. Although, the drag race on dirt with the bikes coming to a complete stop 30 feet from the finish line is ridiculous and bad editing.

And my wife thinks Torque is one of the worst movies in the world.

yeah but at least it was based around nothing but motorcycles really. i mean you have to add some drama, but they showed a lot of bikes and it seemed like it showed a lot of what actually somewhat goes on in clubs. :dunno while torque was just ridiculous all. can anybody on here do a 90 degree wheelie and slap another bike all in the process.

and megan goode is fire. that is all.

Wow Torque is on as we speak and I figured I'd give it a shot since I kinda skimmed through it last time.

I am learning so much about biking taht I never knew. So apparently I can race through dirt on street bikes and do twisties in the woods through trees. THen I can fly onto a train and do a donut on the room. Time to get down??? I can fly off the front of the train and land on the tracks and its all gravy ... very edumacational
