They are all on :megan's FB, v3.0 folder :) That's where I linked from the other day.

It's Casull, with two Ls, BTW :)

If you someone asks and you can't remember, it's a Ruger Super Alaskan in .454 Casull with a 2.5" barrel :)

(Another disclaimer: Not doubting your gun knowledge, I just looked up the exact model name and barrel length the other day :))
I'd love to have one of those still. I'd settle for the more common .44mag variant, which would be plenty powerful enough, but I do have dies for .45lc that I could use to reload .454 now :dunno

Disclaimer: :megan, I'm not judging you donating to UT, I get that. I just think they are asking a shitload of money for tickets from someone who already donated :dunno
you forget: i buy 4 tickets per season. my donation is $3000 for the longhorn foundation. that's what gets me dibs on the seats and all the other fancy shit that comes with my seats (parking, drinks underneath, before and after parties, etc)

keep in mind i'm adding 4 tickets to ol' miss ($75 each) and 4 tickets to the OU game ($110 each) on top of the season tickets ($395 per seat, gets you 6 home games per seat).

so donation: $3000 (for all 4 seats. $750/seat. all proceeds go to athletic scholarships, not just football)

season tickets (4 seats, 6 games): $1580
ol miss: $300
OU: $440
handling fee: $10

total: $3000 + $2330

i don't pay any more for tickets than normal season ticket holders. the donation guarantees that i get better seats (having the seatbacks is AWESOME, benches suck) and get way more amenities plus parking...

Speaking of guns, had lots of lulz shooting the MM Arsenal :D I don't think anyone got pics of me shooting the .338 (although that's me picking up brass from the AR behind Steven) but it's a huge ass gun. For comparison, Steven is about 6':

I was surprised at how little recoil it has. My lightweight .30-06 recoils much harder. I'd say this one is maybe hot .308 level even though the muzzle energy is close to twice as high. 16 lbs with a muzzle brake helps :biggrin It IS however loud as fuck (muzzle brake) - first time Corey fired you heard "holy shit" from all over the range :lmao

I was just recently changed to bi-monthly instead of weekly & I was really worried about how it would affect paying bills (since we obviously live pay check to pay check) but its been fine & works out better now probably since I get a check (bigger) one week & then Joe is paid the alternating week.

Plus, we've been managing to stay in the black finally & pay bills on time (ie: finally caught up after all these years) :frantic

Fo sho! Could imagine you'd get a lot of "stupid, pretty girls know nothing about guns" comments otherwise :facepalm

If I was going for a real heavy caliber, I'd go for the .500 S&W personally - why settle for .454 if you are spending that kind of monies anyway? :biggrin
