I have been having trouble with my bike missing in the higher rpms. Turns out that it runs fine without the powercommander. Talked to a guy at dyno jet, he had me run it with a zero map. It was fine. So I sent him the map that I had been running, and he and other tuners looked over and said that it was no good. This is a custom map.

When I had it done I had it printed on paper so I had a copy. Good thing, cause when I compared the paper copy and the copy from my power commander the two were nothing alike. Has anybody ever had a problem with a pc losing the map? I have not had it off of the bike since it was done. This is the first time it has been hooked up to a computer.

I've had my map go sour before as well. But I'm pretty sure i know the reason. I have my PC mounted in my trunk for easy access. So I think that in the past, while carrying other items back there (Chain lube, caliper lock etc), the items have pressed down on the PC's buttons and accidentally changed some of the settings. As soon as I Re-downloaded the tune that was supposed to be in it...the bike ran like a champ again.

Maybe I'm off base on my suspicions, but that was the only way I could explain it.
