yeah the dude in the vids I posted paid 4500 for each turbine...and he bought 4!!! that doesn't include what the materials are costing to build the plane plus the radio gear...insane!!

I use to be into RC aircraft. for a short period of time untill i attempted to fly an electric job. got out of it sortly after that. Those jets are INSANE upwards of 200+ MPH would be very difficult to fly. The jet turbines are exactly the same as a real jet engine just scaled down. and they use a computer to start them. average jet costs around 10K pretty badass these old guys are either enjoying the single life or have one understanding wife.

There was a club of guys who did this and they used the road in the park near my house as their runway. I loved watching them but after talking to alot of them i found even the small like 1/25 models cost around 30-40K.... The president of their club had a 1/10 or 1/8 scale B-52 that had a 25 foot wingspan and 6 foot high tail with 8!! of the turbine engines

that thing woke the neighborhood when it took off lol
