Good Evening Everyone, Here is my Full But short Review of My new Sato Racing Rearsets in Black.

1st off the Packaging of these Rearsets were amazing, Everything was packaged individually, and the rearsets themselves were semi put together by Sato.

The Hardware and Components were all packaged separately, and sato supplies
Everything needed to install these awesome Rearsets,

Except for one small part which was a return Spring that according to the parts breakdown list that Sato will supply you with, was optional for the 01-03 GSX-R600/750.

So what I did was made a run to the local hardware store and bought a hemi-coil spring with a 7/16 washer.
Now keep in mind the Spring wasn't really needed, but I wanted it just for a bit of piece of mind.

Now ON to the Rearsets.....Drum roll please.......

Wow these Rearsets are just amazing. Sato's build quality and Craftsmanship is excellent. The Heel Guards are CNC'd Aluminum and they Just felt so light.

I was astonished on How Much Knurling was on these foot pegs, they looked great and felt grippy in my hands.

The Clutch and Brake Lever in my hands were not only smooth but felt so solid and the attention to detail was great.

The CNC base plate was of high quality and the Adjustment points were pretty good.

Now on to the Install.....

So I decided to start off the install on the Brake side, Figured I'd start on the Hard side first.

Sato Supplies a Rear Banjo Bolt Brake light Switch by spiegler, which I will say and HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you Install the Tabs into the bike side.

As this is what I had done as I don't like to cut any Electrical on the Bike side.
So Later if I need to Re-install my OEM RearSets I can still use my Stock Brake light switch.

Now depending on your year and make of Bike Sato may or may not supply you with a Shift Rod.

I must say This thing is Fuckin' Beefy compared to my Puny Stock shift rod. Now SATO WILL SUPPLY YOU WITH RED LOCTITE USE IT.

So after I completed the Install for the brake side I took a step back and compared them to my Stock rear set that was still on the clutch side and there is a DEFINATE change in rearset height.

Now the way they felt while sitting on the bike was awesome, I had them set at 0mm up and 25mm back according to Sato's position Measurements, My knee placement on my tank on the brake side for me was just perfect. I'm 5'8" with an Average Size Build.

Now Installing the Clutch Side is pretty self explanatory just unbolt your stock rearset, unbolt your stock shift rod and Replace with your new rear set and the supplied shift rod, But however keep your Jam Nuts on your stock shift rod as you will be still using them to install your shift rod, oh and DONT FORGET TO LOCTITE your rear jam nut that keeps your shift rod from backing out. But only due this AFTER you place your clutch pedal where you want it.

So my Sato Racing RearSets are now fully installed with out any problems....

Now Total Install took me about I'd say an hour and a half as I wanted to take my time not rush things, and make sure everything fit perfectly and all hardware was torqued to spec and then loctite'd.

So Now I decided to take them to my local canyon for a quick spin......:punk:burnout Lucky for me I'm super close to a local Canyon where I was able to put them through there paces.

The Shift Lever as you will know has sealed double ball bearings. Now I will say that they are soooo Silky Smooth, Not one Hiccup shifting was crisp and clean and fully engaged in every gear without a problem.

Now as im just ripping through the Canyon's I was just Blown away on how buttery Soft and smooth the Brake lever was, Spring Rate was excellent.

Now the Pegs..OH THE PEGS were So Super Grippy, My foot placement was on point, had no feeling of slippage and I was excited that I had Extra Ground Clearance so of course that led to more confidence for more lean angle. but Yet My knee Placement on my tank and body Postioning was just straight up perfect.

The knurling on these are semi-aggressive compared to say the vortex and maybe Gilles, but a lot more aggressive compared to my OEM pegs. The Boots I wear are the Dianese Axial Pro In's. The Pegs paired with these boots were perfect.

So in short I just can't say enough about these Rearsets, Best bang for the buck IMHO, I had purchased them From Corey @motomummy.com. The Sato's are Not only beautiful to look at and add alittle Bling factor to your bike but there build quality is just so on point, no flaws at all, they performed flawlessly.

The clutch and brake pedals were just so smooth, if you have to make one decision on a set of rearsets you can't go wrong with Sato's. The best part about these aside from the performance factor was that they had came Wrapped in a Japanese Newspaper. which I thought was pretty ingenious(way to go sato) #Japanesecurrentevents.

All in all I'm super satisfied with my purchase Corey at motomummy is top notch, Bro you have a customer for life, shipping was quick and painless even though I myself was getting anxious and impatient but corey was super speedy with the emails and the updates on these rearsets.

So Again Thankyou Everyone for checking out my Review sorry its so long but I just wanted to give some insight on this purchase. Once again Thanks for stopping by. as always keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down. Now Go check out My pics ENJOY :cheers

Wow. For a few weeks I went back and forth between those and Vortex. The deciding factor was Motomummy had too great a sale on the Vortex and couldn't pass it up. Their regular pricing on the Sato sets are the best I have seen as well.

I am hoping I have as good an experience with Vortex as you did with the Sato's.
Good luck

@Dannyrocket. Yeah I got a Great Deal on the Sato's from motomummy I think I paid 440.00 Took a couple of weeks for shipping only cause Corey was out of stock. However I'm super Impressed with them. I'm sure you will Love the Vortex either way you can't go wrong with your purchase. I know I don't regret it at all. best bang for the buck. An you get rid of your OEM Rearsets and you have more adjustability compared to the stockers. anyway Nice to hear from you and on your comments and opinion.
