Hey guys, I have a 02 gsxr6 and was looking at possibly swapping the tail section for a newer one, the one on the 02 looks kinda of chubby, so i wanted one of the slicker 05 or 06, is there any way to do this?

Has anyone actually put a 01-02 1000 6 inch wide rear wheel on a 750 swing arm?

Looking at ronayers.com it tells me that the brake bracket is different (guessing cause of the different caliper, not the hole, or width, and the axel is different as well.

Bearings look the same, and one spacer is deferent as well (witch I knew)

Why is the axel different between the 1000, and the 750, if the swingarm width is same, and opening of the hole is same? I would ask my wheel god, but i know he has a lot on his plate (if you see this, I'm trying to be resourceful) I'm going to hit the search next, But I thought this would be a good topic to have up here for wheel interchangeability, wooo long word.

When doing a front fork swap, On a 2000 GSXR 750. I have an aftermarket Tripple Tree, that I would like to use on the 06-07 or 04-05 forks. I noticed the hole is 50, but the offset is 2 deg different. What does this mean? What did you run on your bike? And di you use your aftermarket tripple tree mount?

Why am I upgrading? Well, I hear a knocking, each time I hit a bump. I see nothing lose, I'm guessing it is an internal noise from the shock's. I planed on upgrading anyways. Any suggestions would be great! Did you have this problem?

Looking at 04/05 750 forks, and 05-06 1000 forks, What is the best, yet easy to install, with the less amount of parts needed for swap. In other words (love saying this) What forks should i run, for the easy swap, and best working swap. Rather not play with goofy shit. Just made new lines for my front brakes, Hope I can still use them, if not, I'll replace them, and sell.

Any advise would be kosher! lol kewl?!?!

I'm looking for a front end upgrade with radial brakes, better forks.
Can anyone let me know what forks swap staight in? as I don't get the first page write up.

Looking for gsxr1000 k5/6 forks as I can get a cheap set. Will the wheel fit staight in? what about the rotors

With enough zip-ties, duct tape, bailing wire, and super glue anything is possible. A common swap is with the 929 because it's pretty easy and looks better then ours.

Anyone know if K5/K6 1000 (thinner spoke) wheels will fit directly to my K4? Any other modifications needed other than caliper spacers for the discs?

Hey guys, first post here.

I have a 2000 GSXR 600 and my rear break caliper seized. As you can imagine Im having a hard time finding a replacement caliper. I did find one from an 01 but I dont know for sure if it will fit. Does anyone know for sure if an 01 rear caliper will fit on a 2000?

all i can find on here is stuff about engine parts and what not.. but i cant find anything about fairings and what years fit what year. i have a 2008 and is the only year that will fit it faring wise is a 09? cuz if i am right the 08 09 r the same? i crashed my bike in oct. and cant find my 08 or 09. so any info will be much help thanks

does anyone know if any of the newer model driver seats are interchangable with the 2001 750s? i'm looking for a more narrow seat for my GFs bike bcause she's short and her bike is lowered and we're trying to get close to stock height for better handling, so i was thinking a narrow seat may help like on some of the newer models before i attempt to shave her seat down.

Ignition Switches

EDIT
The 2000-2003 750s, and 2001-2003 600 Ignition switches are interchangable. Please add this to the list. I put a 2003 gixxer 600 ignition switch on my 2001 750, worked like a charm.
