Been at two different dealers and they could never replicate the issue so they wouldn't do anything for me.... I finally (I know I should have done this first) adjusted my TPS and it seems to have worked.

I got it to the point where the -C00 was -(top)C00. I adjusted it to where it
"just" clicked over to the top mark and tightened up the torx screw and BAM! fixed. I was sitting in the middle but just loosening the screw knocked me down to the bottom... so it was def. a lil low.

I also tightened up my throttle cable and now the bikes running like butter after the two adjustments... I can really just roll off the throttle and back on it in the corners and I don't get any jerks and feel like I'm gonna lose it.

Ghetto dealer mode switch = love

now this -C00 is the - supposed to be on top of the C , im getting kind of confused reading through the posts. and will hopping the wire to put it in dealer mode work for the k8 600 too? and are you referring to the service manual that comes with the bike when you say it shows you how to adjust all this? cuz i think I need to tighten my throttle cable as well. this is such a pain in the a$$

No, the procedure is in the service manual not the owners manual that comes with the bike. The service manual you have to pay for normally, but someone was nice enough to scan it in and post it at the link I provide you above. Once you see the procedure for TP Sensor Adjustment (page 1C-4), it will be clear what to look for (e.g., -C00).

Yes the paperclip or wire method for dealer mode that I posted will work for our K8s.

The manual that comes with the bike is the owners manual. The service manual is the one that has step by step instructions to do any and all maintenance to the bike. Adjust the the line can be at the top, middle or bottom next to the C. You want to adjust it to where it JUST crosses to the top. the display only updates every two seconds, so adjust slowly and do it with the bike running for best results (be careful not to burn the piss out of yourself though)

Also, if you have a power commander, you'll need to re-calibrate your throttle position in the power commander control center after you do this. You can find instructions to do that on the Power Commander website

And here's a write up

I fixed 90% of the herkyness on my K6 with homemade 02 eliminator (euro bike with 02 system). Installed 330ohm resistor to the 02 plug that comes from ECU.

Made a closed circuit connecting the resistor to Orange/White and Black/White wires on the plug. 4000-6000rpm range is much smoother and when I roll throttle on/off quickly for testing how the bike acts, it's not trying to throw me off the bike anymore. This mod was very good for commuting speeds and throttle positions, but did not really do anything at higher rpm's and throttle positions when riding the bike like it's supposed to.

Overall a very good and easy .30$ fix to make bike ride better at low speeds.
