Hmmmm I have just seen this bird sign up on OSB. Screen name SimplyLisa. She scared the crap out of me on Sunday while scooting down glorious toward somerset when rounding a nice bend she points something at me....completely screwing my focus. She is a bloody photographer!!!
Shheeeeesh they should flashing lights or something to warn people they are there. All I thought whe I saw her was FAK there goes my licence and then crap I should be looking at the road LOL......I just gave her bit of a serve for it. Big meany I am!!

HI again - yeah am working for DECA. GOTM is a great idea but i think its slowing dying as not a lot seems to be happening of late - hope it stays going tho, the more ladies on two wheels the better me thinks...

the problem with GOTM is like most womens only groups there is too much politics involved. I was used till my ex husband and myself made their forum for them and when I moved to Lonnie I could not spare the time to become northern co-ordinator due to sharing custody of my kids with my ex, so I was pushed out. But they still use my ex husband to administrate their forum.
They also spread a bit of crap in regard to some things, for example, the current northern co-ordinator is telling learners and P Platers not to try a track day at symmons as learners (and any newbie in general) are left to their own devices and crashes happen all the time. Which is completely untrue. The Tas Motorcycle club are extremely supportive of ALL new comers regardless if they are learners or full licence riders.
Under the current committee I certainly do not recommend GOTM to any new ladies I meet. I send them to Bikerbabes or DECA instead.

I agree 150% - the politics are just ridiculous, and thats why i'm not going to get involved in it. Some of the other trainers offer up their time and I think deca help them out with some coin and such, but i think the last time they went out there were like 4 ppl involved - mind the weather wasn't too kind.
I really, really wish i'd done a track day or two when i first started riding. If assisted properly, you learn more in one track day than 2 years of road riding - and the bloody govt should encourage more of it...

yeah the pants fit well but have to wear them with my joe rocket jacket as the dainese jacket is too short, must have been fitted on a short bodied midget

Oh come on Tracey, DO IT! Cant be any worse than my cheshire grin on the Fireblade :biggrin, that bastard was glued to my face for at least 48hrs :lmao
Why are girls jackets so short??? Its just not right. I have 3 jackets, a honda 1, suzuki 1 & Icon 1 and they are all short! Drives me nuts! Im going to have to start a group, after I read the newbie etiquette section because I have said a cpl of B words tonight :lmao
