GSXR 750 '99 engine noise

Yeah, the most popular thread. I thought that too, till this evening.

I heard that my GSXR started making some weird noise from engine. But the noise DISSAPEAR above 4k rpm.
I took out the CCT, but it looks normal - i cant move the 'head' or 'longer part' . I dont know how to call it.

What I should check now?

I made a video before opened an engine. Its sounds like exactly cct problem -

I am just not sure, if there is cct noise, does the sound have to dissapear when running? (Like I said, everything okey above 4k RPM)
This cct i not full mechanical, maybe there is the way to check it?

That is your CCT. Honestly,I would guess it is going away at 4K because the torque is keeping it tight.

Get an APE CCT and replace yours-it’s like $50 and worth the piece of mind. Hope this helps!
