well I have a K7 600 and I'm having problems with my fan not kicking on at all.
Things I have tested are: Fan relay using the FSM method of adding +/- to C/D prongs and checking connectivity on A/B. After hard wiring the fan it kick's on without any problems. let it get up to 215 to see if the fan will come on at all.
What I want to know can I jump the ECT sensor to make the fan kick on or does the bike have to be running?
Next, are there any other connectors the fan goes to besides the relay? From the wiring diagram it looks like it connects to the GP sensor and grounds off on the relay?
One of my assumptions is that my radiator cap isn't holding enough pressure because it's leaking right now and is boiling over but still no fan. Both ends of the radiator hot.
I'm leaning at maybe being a bad thermostat? I'm lost as to what I should look at next =(
any suggestions are very helpful.
Thanks,
Jerry
