Wanted to turn over the engine today: clutch switch not hooked up, so jumped solenoid...
Sparks ,big... got juice, but, OH SHIT !!!
Checked to see if engine could turn: Put in first gear: looked locked up...
tried to find second gear, had a hard time, engine still looked locked up, could not even find 3rd...

Shit, shit, god damn, !!! I even topped off my coolant today !

I shifted through the gears before & after case assembly , seemed fine at the time... But now... :cursing

I have to take everything apart again, if I still feel like it !!!

Either that or I will cut my losses and sell...

I have lost more than half a season, put in over 4K$, and hundreds of hours... All for what ?

Clutch plates all have to of been soaked in oil before put in. Not sure if I read a half hour soaking but wouldn't hurt to drown the gremlins.

That's soaked now. Not just smeared with oil.

Its not the clutch plates I am sure, but its the sequence of the assembly:
This clutch still has a lot of the oil, of when I took it apart....

I know when i pulled my clutch out to replace the factory shift spring, I had a hell of a time getting it back on, I had to really struggle to get it to sit flush with the crank gear, and mating with oil pickup and starter gear. that you cant see and barely able to feel behind the clutch gear thats attached to basket.
