I recently purchased a totally stock 2015 GSXR 1000. What are some of the "must do"mods besides the exhaust & power commander. Brock Davidson pipe & Bazazz are first on list

Do as many track days and road racing courses as you can. Becoming a better rider will make you and the bike faster than any mod you can throw at it.

Put it this way, I would regularly beat guys on 1000's on my 600 because I was a better rider. Size and HP means very little.

Forget the Brocks pipe.

Get Akrapovic.

What is your goal of this build? Street riding? Track? Drag racing?

Thanks Anthony. This bike will probably be just for the street. For the last 9 years or so I've been strictly drag racing and racing 4 wheelers so decided to get back on a street bike. My last street bike was a 2005 GSXR1000 which I later turned into a drag bike.

Akrapovic is proven to make more rwhp and more hp under the curve then the Brocks. Don't buy into the Brocks kool-aid.
Im a drag racer too,I was at Gainesville when Brock ran the 1st 7sec 1/4mi in ProStreet on his Bandit&I appreciate all he has done to help the sport...but that does not mean his pipes are the best.
If you just happen to like Brock,or how the pipe looks thats fine, but there are other pipes that work much better and are made much better for street riding.:thumbup

Uggh,I hate trying to make sense of someone's horribly shitty English/grammar this early in the morning.:dissapointed

You can't find an exhaust that works better simply because you have Brock's dick,(balls and all),inside your mouth and are sucking real hard.

I deleted my detailed reply,as I just remembered you are the troll who like's to post in exhaust threads and start drama...you were already banned once for your stupidity.

I've had my L5 since last year and slowly working through the bits I'm not happy with. Brembo master cylinder with braided lines and a Translogic quickshifter. Mine came with the Yoshi end can and other Yoshi parts and I don't intend to change much as may get the L7 if it's not to small

As the two veteran above have stated, there are better exhaust options other than Brocks. But if you want to waste your money, then by all means go with Brocks.

brock dyno'd two kawa h2's one woth brocks system and one a custom slip on from zx10r and they both made about the same power Im sure the akra made for the h2 would actually put out some more ponys in the mid range and not lose much on the top end to brocks drag exhaust

Yoshi, Akra or Arrow are the most popular in the UK, got the OEM Yoshi on mine.

There's a big difference between a bike built for the quarter mile and a bike built for riding on the streets.
