Im trying to fix my friends 2007 gsxr 1000 that wont start. He went down on it last year...hurt himself pretty bad (broken collar bone and stuff like that). The bike sat for a year in his garage after he crashed. Over the last couple of months hes been talking about fixing it up and riding it this year. I agreed to help him since I work on my own bike (2006 R1). The bike wouldn't start originally because the battery was dead, so I charged the battery, popped it back in and it started the first time. I rode the bike for about an hour to test it out, checking for leaks and all that stuff. I give him the bike back telling him that everything checks out. I leave him and then get a call about an hour later from him saying that he took the bike for a ride, cut it off, tried to start it and it wouldn't come back on. so my first though is...shoot..the year old gas probably messed up the spark plugs. So I changed the plugs, drained the gas, put in fresh gas, and tried to start it but it wont kick on. Instead the f1 light came on, I put it into dealer mode and the code that I was given was "c-oo" which when I looked up came up as "no fault" I don't know what my next step should be.
