oh yea, This is my third battery

 

I also feel it may be my regulator more then my stator because my headlight has trouble staying on, as it flickers on and off at times before it stays on

 

Haha.... I jumped started my jag with my k7 600 a couple times.
Yeah it might be your stator/rectifier .

 

Ok so I did a pretty dumb move by jumping my car with a running car! For some reason the bike wont keep the battery charged for more then a week! I had to replace the ingition box thinking that was the only reason it wont start and it work but now the battery wont stay charged! I road pretty hard this past weekend and noticed a funny smell (like rotten eggs) and a friend told me it was battery acid probably leaking out. He told me its probably my voltage regulator or stator that will have to be changed....any ideas?

I actually think it is okay to jump a car with a running car; however, I'm not sure how bad jumping a bike with a running car is. To your point about the battery issue, I bet it's the regulator. How many volts are you getting from the battery with the bike on?

 

I am not sure I plan to find out tonight...I will let you guys know
