Ok guys and girls just found out the headers I ordered are on back order and could be awhile before they are back in stock. So any suggestions on a good set of headers?

The only Data point I can offer between headers is this dyno sheet between an Evo TI from Akrapovic vs SS Arrow Headers with Yoshi slip-on (the one you get with when you buy the bike). You can see a slightly lower HP/TQ advantage down low. Honestly not enough difference to pay 100% cost difference between the two setups. I think you can get the Arrow headers for like 700.

You definitely get way more than what you pay for I'm making the same amount of power at the wheels with my Lextek pipes as guys I know and have seen on YouTube with the expensive pipes that are S/S or Ti the only difference is the Ti are lighter but as far as S/S the Lextek weigh the same if not lighter than other S/S brands.
Did you make any good gains?

Yes it was flashed, the first dyno run was done without the flash right after I installed the pipes and there was only a 4hp gain, but then we flash the ECU and then fine tuned it to get the 183+hp. Going to experiment with different slip-on to see if there is any change but the real test will be when I take her the the track in a couple of months. Right after the flash she dyno'd @ 176hp but the fine running of the map got us to 183+hp.

Sorry for the delay in updates had a ton going on on my end. So without any further ado here are the results of the Dyno runs.
Now granted its not a huge gain like I've seen in other videos but 25.13hp for a quarter of the cost of the other pipes out there, I'd say i got a big bang for my buck. I'll be posting pics tonight of what my baby looks like with her new pipes. In summary the pipes might not get you to the 200+hp mark but the 25+hp gain is not to shabby, and the quality of workmanship was excellent. So I'm giving the Lextek pipes a (y)(y). Pics will follow in the next couple of hours.

25 hp? So did they flash and tune it at the same time I take it? 25 hp from headers is a very happy dyno. But if it’s flashed at the same time it’s understandable. [emoji3166] either wai looks good and all too! Any idea on how much the headers weighed?

Well I just finished installing the Lextek pipes and they fit perfectly no issues what so ever and when I fired her up the sound was distinctly different then stock. I truly enjoyed hearing it purr so much. The only thing that could have been better was if they were TI. I'll be taking it to the dyno after Christmas will give you update as soon as I do.

ok guys and girls have an update!
i took a chance and ordered a set of headers from Lextek for my L8. i bought them on Cyber Monday for $270.00 USD from Amazon and they just arrived for the price the quality of the welds and finish are excellent! when i ordered i asked if they came with the exhaust gaskets and was told no they don't but low and behold they do as well as silicone exhaust sealant. going to post some pic as well to show the quality of this product, will be installing this evening and will have my comments on the install at that time.

If interested, I am selling a full TI M4 exhuast system off of my racebike. Exhaust system has only been on for 300 miles. It's not as loud as I would like

, so I'm gonna take my chances with purchasing Arrow headers and seeing if it'll mate up with the Racefit Growler slip on. The Akra mated up with the Racefit on my BMW HP4 and it was easily the best sounding bike on the grid (my non-biased opinion of course), I'm also a big fan of the minimalist look

ive seen akras mated up to a bunch of different cans, usually with some dicking around of the mid pipe though.
