Doing my first ever tyre change / Sprocket and chain change, are jack stands advisable to leave me pride and joy on definitely feels stable enough and I've got good movement and space to reach everything I need to loosen/remove.

Thanks for any forthcoming advise or support šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼.

It looks a little sketchy and you may need to take the fender off to get the tire off. Maybe put some straps on the bike to something as an extra precaution. What type of rear stand is that? Some of those are questionable. Its worth getting some pitbull stands. Especially if you like to do work yourself.

I've used loads of different stands over the years, but for me, Abba superbike stand (especially with the new Front Lift stand) are the best

The bike is secure and they take up very little space when in use (and being stored)

Stock header? Break everything loose on the front end and then just jack it up under the header. Use a block of wood to keep from scratching it. This is how the manual actually advises to do it.

Or buy a front stand if you're going to do this stuff yourself.

Thanks guys, to answer a few questions.

Tyre change went without a hitch,

Bro, buy a set of stands. You can get a set of stands for 100$ these days, shipped.
I wanted my tyres changed in a very quick turn around ready for a bike meet with some work friends, didn't have time to get a front stand delivered, but will be investing in 1 before done the brakes.

It does looks stable enough. So, did you manage to change the tire without a problem? I do like your bike. What's the fastest you've gone so far?
The fastest I've gone is 163mph shown on the dash and it was this week after doing all my maintenance so yes, I was confident I'd done the work well as my ride partner asked šŸ˜„
