This is my gal, she's my first and only motorcycle and I've had her for 2.5 years.

Can you post a list of everything you done to it? This bike looks sick. Also where did you get the carbon fiber bits from??
Heres a list of what I can remember I've add to it:

Ohlins STX46 rear shock
K-tech RDS fork cartridges
Brembo 17RCS front master cylinder
Brembo front rotors
Brembo GP4-RS front calipers
Speigler SS brake lines front & rear
Vesrah SRJL-XX front brake pads
Galfer rear rotor
Zeta clutch perch w/switch
Attack rearsets
Carbon fiber trim from 1carbontech
EK3d 520 chain w/ -1 front sprocket
Driven aluminum rear sprocket
CoreMoto V-Track Titanium Grey wheels
Dunlop Q3+ 120/70 & 190/55
Shori battery
Bazzaz Z FI-TC (fuel, quick shift & traction control)
Bazzaz traction control light & adjustment switch
ECU flash/tune
Saddleman seat
Zero Tolerance tinted windscreen
Racefit titanium exhaust
GB Racing case covers
Captive rear caliper bracket
Ohlins steering damper
Sprint air filter

The carbon fiber bits are real molded carbon fiber pieces from 1CARBONTECH in CA. They make custom carbon fiber parts for bikes and do great work.

Here's a picture when I'm getting it ready for a track weekend

Time for an update
Been quite busy, looks are mostly done,
Added the mirrors, grips and bar weights of my old K6 750,
replaced the screen for a lighter DB, if not for less turbulence, then for less bugs on my visor
Removed the passenger pegs for a single hanger, added preload adjusters and bobbins, changed the levers and chain tensioners, put on some tank grips,
bolted on a set of crashpads, it received steel brakelines, installed a PC3 and K&N filter, put on a seat cover and stuck on a custom tankkpad

Still need to update the suspension and get a custom tune the PC3

I bought this last year. I threw some brake pads on it and a few oil changes later I decided to change the fairings out. It was pure white and the paint just looked muddy.
It's just mocked up in the pics. I have changed the all plugs/filters/fluid and performed all the maintenance I can think of.
I have a power commander V coming tomorrow and hopefully that will smooth it out. The Power is jittery in 1st and 2nd unless your accelerating quickly.

Well, bumblebee got stolen early november
Pretty miffed, the only things left on my "to do" list were a steering damper and different rims

Luckily I'm pretty well ensured and got full replacement value (2nd hand dealer prices), plus had extra coverage for accessories and a coverage for 30 days requiring alternative transport (but I was borrowing a moped for that), so that added to the payout

Browsing the local 'Reverb', though not being in a hurry, since it's wintertime I figured I'd be buying somewhere in the new season
I found a few 'decent' ones, had my eye on a black edition, then came across a dealer that I only clicked on because it was at the end of the street of a buddy of mine a province south
and to my surprise, they also had a k5 in their inventory on site (but wasn't advertised on our version of 'Reverb')
sent the link to my mate, and he called my up on 23 december "Are they open, if they are, ask for a testride and I'll pick you up", well, they wer open, so went out for a ride

30K kms (a little under 19K miles), same Yoshi as I had on my previous one, DB windshield, HiD lowbeam
had front fork refreshed, new chain and sprockets, oil and filter, only needs a new inner cowl and radiator cap (parts will come in free of charge, also demanded extended warranty because of the cap, it was throwing coolant in the reservoir when shut down at fan-temperature)

I ended up taking the lady home with me

^Where was the bike when it was stolen? I'm cell phone ignorant but the Apple Air Tag sounds attractive in terms of locating a stolen bike. However there's a strange inverse downside. Thieves are attaching them to luxury cars so they can track and steal them at their leisure. Maybe Apple needs to be more through with regard to registration.

P.S. A HIR 9012 high beam works well with the HID low beam.

P.P.S. Is your Yoshimura muffler the catalytic one (Suzuki pn 99000-79N12-021)?

^Where was the bike when it was stolen?
On the parking lot at my job

Checked the security cams, came straight for my bike, not checking out any mopeds or electric bikes at the cycle sheds, the guys knew exactly what the angles were on our cameras
Waited until an LHV parked in front of the windows of production, then made off with it, gone in 240 seconds

Yeah, well, if they know what they want, as in my case, it doesn't matter where you go, it they're that professional, YOUR tracker will probably be out of commission in seconds

I figured they had their eye on it for some time, and if these assholes didn't jump to the occasion with the view blocked, they would have just waited until I was the last at the job (which happens quite a lot) and just rang the doorbell to "ask" me for my keys

P.S. A HIR 9012 high beam works well with the HID low beam.
Thanks for the tip, though I'm contemplating a KTmoto headlight unit atm, if I decide against it, this would be a nice alternative to the orange eyesore that is my hi--beam 😆

Nope, that would be the US/EU SS can, I have the Made in Japan Carbon version (but I'll be damned if I ever find out what the official designation is of that model)

^I meant HIR 9011. The 9012 isn't as bright.

The can wouldn't have a cat converter in it then. Did you have any MOT problems? It's my understanding that the inspectors don't check for cats on motorcycles.

MOT? What's that? 😈

They haven't been able to push for any kind of periodic tests (yet), since over here, the average maintained bike is better maintained than a good car (which have an annual check)
In general, most bike related accidents aren't the fault of mechanical negligence

...stil doesn't change the fact that this pipe IS illegal according to my national DMV, but not because of a lack of a cat, since those only became mandatory for bikes with EURO4 somewhere in 06/07
Just the dB's are above the limit

^ Sorry, don't know why but I thought that you were in the UK. But your flag emoji clearly shows the Netherlands. Ironically I think of the Netherlands as being more regulated than the UK.

Years ago I downloaded a list of Yoshimura exhausts from O2 Racing Service. It may identify your muffler. I don't see it online so I'll have to dig around for it. This will take several days.

my 2006track bike.
I bought it earlier this year with loads already done to it.
Both my local circuits are quite short so I put a 525 pitch chain on it with a-1 front sprocket and a +3 rear.
other than that I’ve added a few sets of metzeler TD slicks and rode the wheels off it. Serviced it 3 times too.
next outing is on the 7th then I have a full weekend on it the 22nd.
This is my 2nd K5/6. I love them.

list of things done:
Brembo fully floating discs and master cylinder. Brembo pads and steel hoses.
rear brake reservoir delete.
WP rear shock and re valved racetek front forks.
PC3, TRE and shiftpower full race system.
Yoshimura full race system
Yoshimura cam.
nrc engine covers
Full race fairings
Fan bypass switch
Hardwired dealer mode switch
More I can’t remember.

Wow, I'm drewling!

Any idea what the RWHP is now? A lot I'm sure!

Thankyou :) I’m really really happy with it. I’ve no idea about the power unfortunately. It does have a decent map in it and is real smooth with no sudden surges. The gearing is a bit Of a handful with it throwing the front up at every opportunity. I’ve an L7 and an L3 as well and this doesn’t feel any slower than the L3 so I would hazard a guess around the 160bhp range. If it starts feeling a bit lazy then I may put it on a dyno in the future.

While I know dyno's are different. They are supposed to have some type of calibrations too.
That being said, with your mods IE the cams and full system/flash- I would think well over 170! My nearly stock put down 160.- with the pair sucker mod thingy.

Perhaps it does. I just haven’t had it on the dyno. Dyno time here is really expensive. I made inquiries to smooth out the fuelling on my L7 and they wanted almost $1000. I looked at it and just thought it wasn’t worth it to me. $1000 gets me 2 sets of tyres and 8l of oil haha.
It does have the pair mod done too. Was supposed to eliminate the popping on decel but this bike pops and spits more than anything else I’ve ever heard. Secretly I love it haha

Don't hear much on the UK being sticklers, but I know the Germans are pretty stock-im-arsch concering their TUV/ABE, and it's not uncommon for the dutch having to flatbed their bikes back home from Germany without their Non-CE approved slipon

Thanks, I really am wondering what the official name/Part # is for this pipe
I heard Cyclone, Tri-Oval, TRS/TRC, but no search ever came up with that can
(I'll admit, I never arsed myself to contact Yoshimura about it directly)
