Sucks that it has to be so castrated in CA - between 10 round limit, bullet button, non-adjustable stock and no pistol grip.
With all those limits, I'd suggest checking out the Ruger Mini-14 too.

Not to mention waiting periods - the only waiting period I had last time (transferring two guns) was 15 minutes because my FFL guy had another customer ahead of me :lmao Being pre-approved by means of CHL is awesome

I have a short term plan of getting a .300 Blackout upper for my AR - and a long term plan of getting a suppressor for it... I could always get a .22 suppressor for the P22 and 597 but a 220 grain .308 bullet is moar funner than a 40 grain .22 at the same velocity at any time!
