gotgixxers, your making my conservatism very difficult. For a moment I actually thought about the B12 idea... :)

rklontz, I cannot find the correct Wiseco's on orient express.
I think they are these;

70mm XA Ring Set/Per Piston/0.8mm Top/0.8mm 2nd/1.5mm Oil

Part#: WIS2756XA

http://www.orientexpress.com/p-15701-piston-ring-set.aspx

If you can confirm I will order today. And then go into the garage and take some pics for your time. :)

Cleaned up the pistons this morning. I didn't take pics of them all but they pretty much looked like this one (#4). Pistons are all coming in at about 69.97. Thats within spec. Bores are about 70.01. They are good as well.

I got the majority of the carbon off with a small 3M Scotch-Brite wheel chucked up on the cordless drill, then got the remaining stuff off with a #530 soft stainless wire wheel on the dremel.

Gonna clean up the cylinder and case mating surfaces later today and order the needed gaskets and rings. Tomorrow I'll clean up the head and give it a good look over.

Posted the wrong link (to early in the morning) and I can't find the correct one on my phone. You can get ahold of JE also for the correct pn. APE supposedly has Total Seal rings available but you will have to call him.

OK, Well the only replacement rings for stock pistons are genuine suzuki parts unless I want to spend hours pouring through JE's website looking for rings that match measurement for measurement. When I called JE that was the only help he would offer. Needless to say he must not have wanted my business very much.

I'd maybe start another discussion thread in the main part of Oil Cooled section. My bet is there are some experienced folks in the general population who have some knowledge about what fits and what doesn't but might not be part of this discussion.

Bbill, looking good my man! So when your done, you can drive about an hour north to Sarasota and we can do mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!:punk
I'll be up that way tomorrow around 10-11 AM. I'll bring the compression gauge with me.

When I checked my compression I did it with a cold motor. If you don't mind I would like to check yours cold, then hot to see the variance.

We can hit Harbor Freight too, I need a few things.

Craig, I believe Bbill lives in Lehigh Acres which is a short distance to the east of Cape Coral. My guess would be maybe 20-30 minutes from you!
