Hello , has anybody done comparative mearurements between the 43 RWU Front Fork on the 750 / 1100 k 1989 . I need to know if the 1100 is a 'longer' leg and therefore more ride height and travel adjustment over the 750 . If the stanchion is longer and the lower leg looks identical between the two then probably the internals and spring are different lenths aswell ? In a nutshell - is it possible to directly swap 1100 Stanchions into a 750 front end and gain ride-height ????? This is intended for a Kawasaki Zed/Gixer hybrid so standard Clipons / mudguard /controls etc wont be used . Cheers .:burnout

The stanchion tubes of the 1100 are longer, therefore a 750 spring and cartridge tube are short for use in an 1100. To lengthen you could use a spacer for the spring (but the 750 spring rate is softer than an 1100), and the cartridge rod could be extended in theory (with a coupling and extension rod). In theory because its questionable if you could find a rod and coupling to match the cartridge rod threads, so you may be looking at custom machining these. Besides the damping characteristics of the 750 cartridge is likely different than the 1100. and questionable if you could have enough adjustability to get enough increase/decrease in damping
