Oh that. We all know dyno's vary but I should have been more specific. The custom tune made 7 more hp than the generic DJ map.
On what? Race fuel? Lol. Same dyno same day same operator?

And even so it may not make any more power for him..may make.more. The nature of maps. Each bike is unique.

"Advertising" it as anything other than another generic map is pointless. The "generic" map from dynojet WAS "custom" on a bike at one point.

I'm honestly not trying to make more power. My main objective right now is to get the bike running smoother. I took it to the track this past Sat for the first time and I noticed that the rough throttle held me back a bit. Other than that I love the bike. I surprisingly ran faster times on this bike than I did on my 07 CBR600rr which had a lot of track mods.

On pump gas. 91 octane because we ran it in both bikes so we didn't mix up gas. The 7hp gain was from the first pull until the last. If he makes a couple less or a couple more hp he still saves quite a bit of money. Nice thing about a burned ECU is that it can lean and richen as needed. His biggest issue would be finding the exhaust though.

The only way to make it smooth is a custom tune. I can tell you from riding the bike before the tune and after its a night and day difference. Your avatar picture is from Thunderhill isn't it?

If it is abrupt mid corner try bumping idle up to about 1800 Rpm. It'll take a lot of that out.

Most of us who race run idle that high anyway

I flashed my bike my own with WRT and I can say its much better now.

Done +4 ign, fuel map from Baazaz, fan, pair, stp opened, TRE and so on. It's 100 USD for a licanse and you can flash it for free so it's the best option, i will do the custom map with wideband in few weeks and will show the numbers but the result is visible itself

Yep Thill, turn 2. I suppose I will look into getting a custom tune. I'll probably just go the PCV route and take it to a tuning shop.
