i am thinking about getting a JSD for my gixxer600 but i dont know the difference between the switch, unswitched, and the automatic will someone please explain

also do i need anyaftermarket parts on my biike to use the JSD

No aftermarket parts needed to install it. It just plugs inline to the bikes GPS.

Unswitched on all the time, switched you can turn on and off, automatic on all the time and preserves neutral gear for smoother idling.

JSD-1a - for a quick install (just like the original TRE)

JSD-2a - same funtion as the JSD-1a, but has a switch on it so you can turn it off for cold starting or better idle at a stop sign).

JSD-3a - preserves neutral (idle at the stop sign & cold starting issues that the TRE has). This is like Ivans smart TRE.
