The front fork on my 05 gixxer 750 makes a pretty loud creaking/squeaking noise. It happens after the shocks are compressed then on the way up, it is noticeable on bumps and especially when the fork is pressed down fully. It is so loud that I can hear it over the engine when I am driving. It is driving me crazy, only 12 000 km on the bike.

It is most noticeable when it is really warm and dry outside, the other day bike got soaked in the rain and it did not make a single creak while I was driving. The guys at the shop tried diagnosing what was wrong but they ended up telling me they have no idea what it is until they take it apart, which alone is $180.

I thought it might be the seals rubbing on the metal, but there is no leakage, so the seals are probably fine?

If anyone could give me some tips of what the problem is or what I could do to get rid of it, it is greatly appreciated.

Thanks! :banghead
