Free pm.s with new pilot powers. I had to buy the bike and plastics. Still figuring out what I want to put in it. The original 750 motor or a 1052 I have.

I just want a track bike with this 1. Not really going for bling. Function over form rite now.
Thinking of getting an RK seat pan from airtech. Still looking for someone with experience fitting 1 to an L. Wanna know what I'm in for before I get 1.

Free PM's.... That's just crazy.

I'm pretty sure there's an RK running around that had the subframe busted off and a regular subframe put on. Other than coming up with new mounting points for the tail, I expect the rear pan should fit ok.

Here's a shot of mine with nothing attached... If you have something like Photoshop to grab that picture and superimpose it on a picture of yours you could get a rough idea of how it might fit together: http://www.gixxer.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5680332&postcount=19

Hmmm... there is no place for the bolt in the front. A bracket would have to do. I wonder about under the seat? Looks like something would have to be made but can't be too hard.

I'm gonna have to figure it out soon cause I'm getting closer. 1052 is going in and a set of 38's and a dyna2000, carbon Akro. Gonna start bolting it together in the morning. I want a runner by the weekend. :cheers

These second gen bikes are way easier to put together than the early bikes.
