Endurance Tank 2nd Gen

This endurance tank was made (probably) by Bellevue Suzuki. It doesn't have the dry break inserts and I don't know what brand(s) will fit the aluminum adapter, if any. I got this tank in a box of stuff that came with the Gixxasauras when I bought it. I've never used it but heard stories that it was actually used, for what that's worth. The pics don't show it, I tried, but there is sheet metal welded in to raise the top of the tank to increase the fuel capacity to I don't know what. The petcock hole doesn't have any interior nutplate on it to mount the petcock to. You'd need to fab nut plates to mount the petcock with or reach inside and use nuts, yes there is enough room to stick your arm in the top holes. I don't know what to ask for this, so I will start with $500. It may be way out of line, but maybe one of you wants it that bad. I will never use this tank so, it's gotta go. Troy341

Translate this, piss off. If you think the price is too high but want it, make a lower offer. If you know exactly what it is worth to someone else tell me so we can all know. If there are a billion of these floating around point them out so I can lower the price to reflect quantity. If you have one, post it up so we can see how this is supposed to be done. I could have ebayed it, but I brought it here where there is an audience that appreciates unusual GSX-R stuff. When I sold my titanium Yosh duplex on here I did the same thing and offered it at a price that reflected it's rarity. A member thought that it was worth almost what I asked, and we made a deal. Fucktard.

Back on topic. I like this tank. GL with the sale. Wish I had a use for it.

Yup, I don't think that's out of line... If I were building a period endurance race replica, I imagine I would be spending a lot of money to reproduce something like that.

I'm sure if someone needs it, they'll make an offer.

Intguy, by the time I bought the bike the dealership had changed hands a couple of times and it's history had been kinda lost. Most of the stories I got were second hand. The bike had some really cool parts on it. It still has most, but some I can't or won't use so those I can sell. The tank being one and the pipe another.
